In other news, according to Google, they are currently playing London City Lionesses in a friendly. Nowhere to watch it, ect... so I guess just have to keep an eye out for the score.

Burnley haven’t accepted his resignation, the gardening leave gives them the compensation, he will be in soon but I’m concerned about the squad numbers, Sarina Wiegman wouldn’t keep this lot up unless they add some quality. Window closes next week.

They’ve chucked the towel in by the sounds of it. With Mace going it just sends a further signal to other clubs that we are willing to sell our best players. 
 

Im now thinking Miquel kicked off about this, and it’s led to them showing her the door.

That would certainly explain the bizarre timing.

 

I already thought Leicester were destined for 12th.  Now I think they'd struggle to win the play off with the WSL2 runners up.

Money looks like it’s going to pay off Miquel and for compensation to Burnley. 
 

They have sold their biggest asset, only Lioness and I’ll be amazed if they stay up under any manager now. 
 

4 midfielders left, Sherwood is one, Boureille who has been playing CB at Montpellier, Cayman who surely can’t do a full 90 now and Tierney. 
 

Im guessing they will use Las in Defence as the England u17s do.  
 

It’s a disaster selling Ruby, and to a team who have struggled in the past 2 seasons, we’ve just handed them Yuka and Mace.

Yes, that was my thought too, along with the fact that £100k is a decent fee. Potentially the only silver linings in this situation.

But its with the caveat that they actually reinvest it back into the squad. Pretty big caveat...

 they're clearly going down the "we can beat Charlton/Durham so why try" route for this season.

we have got a new DOF so you have to let them build a squad of their own with a manager/coach of their choosing, its frustrating to lose Ruby though

It’s well over 100k but I doubt it’ll be disclosed by the club. Some of it will be used to compensate Burnley no doubt and pay off Miquel.  
 

I’m not sure what’s going on with the midfielder from Rosengard but I’d expect them to at least bring someone in by Friday.

that's not including free agents who can still be signed afterwards some of the Scandinavian leagues end around November so players there would be free then when out of contract for example

I’d say so, this Mace thing has been rumbling for 10 days or more and I reckon she’s kicked off about it along with the lack of activity, Billiard has then called in Beard. 
 

I can’t see any other reason why it would be done so late in pre season.
