Good for her, hasn't worked here

She does seem like a good player and a great character, but hasn't been able to find her groove.

I still think she has great potential, so hopefully can go and develop a little bit more and come back.

But loans seem to mean that they are just surplus to requirements in the women's team.

Fans allowed to drink in the stands for the women's games now.

I'd be more annoyed with how unfair that is for the men's games if the beer was any good.

it's almost certainly coming for the men's game, it's being trialled at women's football likely because of the crowd numbers before they start lifting it across the board

I really do not see the need to allow pints in the stands.

I agree, specifically for the men's games, unfortunately there's a small minority that you can't trust, but will ruin it for everyone.

I don't mind if they wanna let certain blocks throw Chang all over each other when we go 1-0 up against Preston North End just so long as it's not happening near me.

Will be great for the AwayDayLadz social media accounts.

How come the game against Arsenal Women is postponed?

We actually turned up and still played. Lost 2-0 though 🙄

Going to be an interesting day tomorrow for deadline day for both mens and womens teams.

I expected maybe one more through the door before the deadline, but typically we've heard about them a little bit in advance, so maybe not.

Correction - WSL deadline is tomorrow at 11pm

Emma Saunders reporting that we are looking to bring in Lexi Potter in on loan, but Chelsea are reluctant.

Not sure she's the playmaker we need.

Leicester City hope to complete a loan move for Chelsea youngster Lexi Potter on WSL transfer deadline day.

Leicester City make enquiry over Lexi Potter
As reported by The Guardian, the Foxes hope to sign Potter, who is regarded as one of England’s brightest young talents.

Potter spent the last two seasons out on loan at Crystal Palace, making 43 appearances in total.

Chelsea decided not to loan out Potter for the 2025-26 campaign, but the 19-year-old has struggled to get minutes.

She has played just 29 minutes in the WSL this season. Across all competitions, she has made six appearances,  with her only start coming against Liverpool in the League Cup in December.

While a loan move to Leicester, who are in the WSL relegation battle, would help Potter get more minutes, Chelsea are reluctant to let her leave.

Why are Chelsea reluctant to let Lexi Potter join Leicester City?
The Guardian report that Chelsea are not willing to sanction the move unless they sign a midfielder during the January transfer window.

It was reported on Monday that Chelsea are set to make a second offer for PSG’s Jennifer Echegini.

Chelsea have already had one bid rejected for the Nigerian midfielder, with Le Parisien reporting that Echegini is seen as a vital part of the PSG team.

Should Echegini join, Chelsea will be without the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations winner for at least a month. Echegini is likely to be part of the Nigeria team that will defend their AFCON trophy when the tournament starts in March.

Sonia Bompastor’s future as Chelsea head coach is uncertain following their 5-1 defeat to Manchester City.

After the defeat, Bompastor lamented Chelsea’s lack of depth, stating she would have liked to have been “in a better place in terms of the last transfer windows”.

Who have Leicester City signed?
The potential signing of Potter would be a change in tactics for Leicester head coach Rick Passmoor.

The Foxes have added plenty of experience during the transfer window so far with the additions of Alisha Lehmann, Ashleigh Neville and Rachel Williams.

Leicester have also signed Emma Janssen from FC Rosengard and Sarah Mayling on loan from Aston Villa.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have not signed a single player in the transfer window as yet.

However, Oriane Jean-Francois’s £450,000 move to Aston Villa was a record sale for the Blues.

Nelly Las loaned to Ipswich until the end of the season.

Probably a good move to give her consistent minutes.

Ideally should have done this at the start of the season if this was how it was going to pan out for her.

Really hope she gets reintergrated next season.

Looks highly unlikely that there will be any incommers now.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow.

I don’t expect us to get anything from it. A draw wouldn't be totally out of the realms of possibility, if we can keep it tight, maybe squeeze an early goal.

It would be refreshing to take this like we should approach the games against the top 4 and go for it as a bit of a free hit. Throw everything at it.

This proposal for seeding the FA Cup is surely a test for the men's game? A crap idea that again favours the chosen few. Hope it never gets off the ground.

Disgraceful, the doncaster stuff, the man utd not having to work their way up the leagues, this seeding, we seeing the true "wants" come out in the womens game, they think having titan showdown matches is more important than sporting fairness.

Doing everything wrong at the moment in the women’s game.

Daft kick off times, removing the teams in Europe from the league cup, now this FA Cup seeding and last 32 path.
