Cayman, Kees & Cain back in today...

And the only contract Rantala has signed is a new one with Nike!  As each day passes it seems less likely we retain Jutta.

I'd like to think that maybe she is just seeing how the backroom staff takes shape under the new DoF before making a decision, who can blame her for that.

She didnt really get much time at all during the euros (understandable again), so I'm not sure how much she will have put herself in the shop window. After such a serious knee injury clubs tend to be tentative to take them on as those injuries easily reoccur and often aren't quite as good as they were before. So this might work in our favour.

Off topic a little, she is younger than I thought too! I thought she was late 20's to 30.

Heard it straight from Miquel that Momiki was more likely to go than Rantala, when asked on them both at the time (after final home game) she said ‘we’re trying’

I see Liv is back at training now. So just Jutta to go.

who is Liv? I can't think who that is from injuries.

I think Ruby Mace is still away on holiday, presumably delayed due to her rehabbing the injury over the summer

I trust the club will do absolutely zero about the likely increase in interest on Women's football.

Golden opportunity to spend some money (doesn't have to be huge loads) and increase the crowds. They won't and I think it's one of the biggest signs that the owners are well and truly fed up with the club.

Just clocking on for 48 hours and neither two main twitter / x accounts have mentioned season tickets for the female team post Euros victory.

be nice if she stays fit enough to get used to the league, lost of niggly injuries last season which stopped that

I am looking forward to see what she will bring after a full pre-season with us. You can tell that she's got a great work ethic and attitude, and from some of the pictures I've seen of the clubs pre-season training, she appears to be getting a bit leaner, so hopefully she has a bit more mobility.

Her pace and mobility would suggest she might struggle but she can bully opposition defenders well enough and seems decent with the ball at her feet. There is a great foundation for growth with her so i'm really looking forward to seeing how she fairs with a run in the team. Whether the manager see her as a starter or wants to bring in a finished article is something else but, considering how badly things are being run at the minute she may well be thrown in to the deep from the get go.

Shot in the dark maybe, but has anyone else seen the "Leicester City Women Season Ticket Benefits" page on the ticket site?

It mentions that there is an opportunity for kids to be mascots and also kids events & Christmas party.

Was this also on last season as well, or is it a new thing?

Certainly don't remember seeing it last season, but they don't appear to have marketed to boost season ticket sales this season either, so easily missed.

I've emailed the club for a bit of info on it, haven't heard anything yet, assume I probably never will...

Only found out by accident last week that season tickets were being sold.

As a previous season ticket holder I would have expected a mail shot to announce the sales but never heard a thing from the club.

Very poor all round from the sales team / media department.

Not heard of that, probably want to charge for it, I think mascots for the men were £400 or so 😂 you never know they might surprise you mate.

Agreed, I think the sales and marketing team are below average, Women’s team is definitely an afterthought but even with the men it’s bog standard stuff. Get your tickets! Join us! Secure your seat! For Fiorentina on a Sunday afternoon at £20 a go…they aren’t giving me a reason to go… tell me about Fiorentina’s honours, if my kid can see Monga, Fatawu etc. sell it to me ffs!!

Former Leicester City defender Courtney Nevin has joined Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan club Malmö FF on a three-year deal.
The Blue Ones announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website last night.

The 23-year-old Australian international defender joins Malmö FF after leaving former club Leicester City earlier this summer.

Nevin spent two-and-a-half years in the East Midlands in which she made close to 50 appearances for The Foxes in all competitions. The defender helped Leicester City to continually improve their league position.
