Jake got about 20 minutes, certainly likes to get involved although I thought he could have done more to stop the shot that was the winning goal, their manager seems to like him.

May be an image of ‎American football, football and ‎text that says "‎LICESTER XTRA Leicester Xtra @XtraLeicester 4h Northampton manager Kevin Nolan on Jake Evans and Wayne Rooney comparisons χ 'That's exactly what we thought when we came to train with us for the first time' 'Hee doesn't t mess about and he put a few lads on their backsides and thought: 'Yes, like that!' oneZone one one ស្តរ علو‎"‎‎

My point was more if we end up in League One and god knows from there.

Im not suggesting we bring him back to lead the line in the Championship. Although he’d be an upgrade on Ayew.

If we end up in league one you imagine we’d be interested in a 21 yr old with that record from the national league … it would be a no brainer to at least offer him a contract

Ooo decent attempt from Evans and a good save.

Northampton have used their 3 sub slots now and Evans is still on

Ahhh and again! He’s getting closer. Looks their biggest threat

He played really well second half. He looks good at making space for himself to get a shot off, probably should’ve scored one of his chances if you’re critical but the keeper did well for them.

Few moments where he’s a bit sloppy, like letting the ball run loose but overall for 17 he looks really promising. He’s very physical doesn’t look like he’ll get bullied

Evans three chances in the highlights. Does well to create them and decent movement for the 2nd one.

Natural goal scorer, once he's gotten enough minutes in his legs he's going to be scoring loads with all the chances he gets.

What has happened to Will Alves this season? I haven't seen much apart from the odd helpful @moore_94 report. Injured again or just not kicking on?

Started brightly, scored on his debut. Got injured (ankle?) and was out from Late September to late November if I remember correctly. When he returned Lee Grant who was under pressure got replaced by Liam Manning who has basically not had any interest in playing him.

I think it’s been a mixture of injuries, Will not taking his chances and a manager that doesn’t really fancy him it would seem. Just doesn’t seem to be happening for him sadly.

Huddersfield fans don’t like Manning and say the football is dreadful for added context

Nolan gone.

Not sure if good or bad news, clearly worked his way into his plans. Might have to start again under a new manager

Our luck with loans is so incredibly bad.
