Double trouble, will be Opokus first start since coming back from injury, and I think only the second time this season they'll be playing someone below them in the football ladder.

Newport looked rubbish, so disorganised, Braybrooke a class above anyone else.

Although he's getting valuable playing time I don't think his development will be helped with such poor teammates around him.

I think he'd be better off back in Leicester now, as long as he can be guaranteed a reasonable amount of playing time.

Baybrooke was ok but nothing more. A winks clone. No strength, pace or domination of midfield.  This against a national league team. I watched the game but was really disappointed with him. Fuchs has his work cut out. Not sure why he took this job.

Winks is a good footballer with a poor attitude. If Braybrooke turns out to have a similar skill set but with a better attitude, he’ll do alright.

Good rating for Sammy in a defeat.

He always gets good ratings (usually the only one in the Newport team) even when they lose haha

I'm not saying he looked amazing, but one decent player in a poor side is not always able to shine

I'd venture Boreham Wood are a better side objectively than Newport, see it a lot comparing the top of conference National vs bottom half Lg2

Sounds like you haven't got a clue and also can't even spell his name right :D

There was a moment at 0-0 when he broke forward and waited for the perfect moment to lay it off for the winger to come onto. Unfortunately the 7 sort of rounded his run instead of going straight into it which allowed the defender and keeper to close him down quicker and his effort was saved.

I think that was pretty much their highlight of the game to be honest.

But it just shows there's a difference in wavelength.

Todays Result - Tuesday 9th December

League Two:

Jayden Joseph (6.8 + clean sheet - 90 mins) - Tranmere Rovers 3-0 Barrow

Wonder if Tranmere will want to extend his loan in January. Very much a regular for them now

Joseph has now played 5 full 90s in the last 6 games.

Feels like the first season in a while where we’ve actually had some good loan moves for the u21s

its as well we have, because I am convinced that at least a couple of the loan players will be needed (and should be utilised !) next season...

Braybrooke has played 18 games for Newport this season in the league & cup. Played the full game in 16 of them, including 120 minutes in a FA Cup game.

At this rate following his loan is more interesting than Leicester
