Is he soon to be our ex manager

He doesn’t seem to have a strategy worked out for each match, same old stuff, slow, sideways, keep stopping in advanced positions. Too predictable, but I’m afraid that’s the best we’re going to get. Goodbye promotion we are already out of the race.

If we are relying on my to make that call then the club really is in the shitter

So anyway, where's your list of positives? or have you realised it is impossible to come up with anything?

I don’t have any positives. All I’m saying is is that the mess we are in is not fixed with hiring and firing managers. It’s deeper rooted than that

He has to rotate the squad. Most teams in The Championship have made significant changes to their teams and we have to protect Ramsey and Ricardo due to injury issues and James because of his international duty and the work he has to put in in midfield. That’s why they had limited minutes. He has real issues in key positions is the problem and the fact we couldn’t buy this season is not this manager’s fault. Enzo rotated but with much better squad options than Cifuentes has got. Currently he’s got no centre forwards (hopefully Carrenza will improve) and only one quality fullback across right and left in Ricardo.

Just don't play the obviously shite players mate. It's that simple. The fans will back you.

Faes

Thomas

Soumaré

Daka

Ayew

All have absolutely no business in a starting 11 at this level.

I'd also like to see us start with 3 at the back. Nullifies a clear weakness at full back, gives us more solidity centrally, which we lack, and gives us that extra man when we attack, opening space that we've otherwise struggled to create.

The best we've looked all season has been when we've moved to that formation chasing deficits away at Preston and Hull.

Start in that shape with that desire and we'll be too much for most sides.

and it isn't fixed by persevering with a clueless manager with no redeeming qualities

But the people who have appointed him and the other failures are the same people who will appoint the next one. So where does it end?

I've been begging for Top to **** off for years mate, I want him gone, but that doesn't mean we should keep this clown around just because there is a spare seat in the clown car with the rest of the board

I think the best we can hope is that we consolidate this season and get rid of the players who are out of contract next June. See if we can then rebuild and give it a go next season.

What don’t you realise about that fact that constantly firing managers costs millions that we don’t have in compensation?

We have no money for players, what makes you think we have money for hiring and firing managers? 😂

I get ya but to me the managers are just a name until Top and Rudkin **** off. Completely interchangeable and only act as cannon fodder for the fans anger

Sleepwalking down to League 1 isn't great for the bank balance either believe it or not pal

Shite players or not, a decent manager wouldn’t be picking players that constantly underperform, and would be able to get decent consistent performances out of a squad no matter the circumstances. He picks our defence that are massively shit, it’s on him.

I mean, Rohl was in a much worse situation with a much worse owner and still looked like a competent manager at Wednesday, it is possible for a manager to actually be good at their job even with a shit owner, we shouldn't just sit back and accept this useless tosser just because there are other more useless tossers around

When will our clueless owners fluke another good managerial appointment?

Marti is exactly like Cooper and Ruud. He has shown zero ability at tactically outclassing the opposition, he sets his boring and dare I say it, overweight/unfit team up in the same way.

There’s a reason that he’s never managed above QPR’s level before.

But it’s where we are heading. Make peace with it. Going down to league one will not be any managers fault. All of this lies on Tops door. It’s his mismanagement over the last half a decade that has led us to this point. Hiring and firing managers changes absolutely nothing it just spunks more millions down the shitter.

It’s going to get worse before it gets better, you have to accept that.

Ahh yes, that's the solution, give up rather than actually hoping things change, love that

We very likely have a points deduction hanging over us, and we are getting worse week by week, we have won 1 of our last 7 games now including games against Portsmouth, Wrexham, and Oxford, we have 1 clean sheet in 7, our strikers have 1 goal in 1300 minutes between them and our joint top assister downed tools at half time of our second game of the season

Does any part of that sound like stable footing for a side?

But what you want to change will change nothing! You just think it will because you don’t want to address the real issue which is Top!

Where we are is down to his mismanagement!

Id love change!  But it has to be HIM before this gets fixed!

Promotion is totally out of the question if we get a big points deduction relegation is on the cards

“Attacking non stop football” I believe were his words.

In one of his first interviews he spoke about when going ahead we would push and push to score more. Yet to see any sign of that. Portsmouth & Wrexham being a good example.

He talks well but I’m not really seeing it translate on the pitch :dunno:

I won’t even get into how bad we are at pressing which is another thing he’s lied about

We were streaky in the early matches but you could see the players were giving it their best. A highlight was Soumare and Skipp hunting the ball down vs. Birmingham - hadn't seen either player show that kind of endeavour before.

Then steadily, he's brought more of the experienced players back and the attitude has begun to regress while there have been fitness issues as well.

Surely he realises giving the youngsters a chance ahead of the failed experienced players is great for morale and energy as well?
