He was an uninspiring choice there was no new manager bounce unlike what we got with enzo last time in championship the games we have won were more by luck and against two teams in league 1 last season he talks a good game but unfortunately his tactics don’t maybe we need a bit of blood and thunder football instead of turgid crab 🦀 slow paced not going anywhere football with no goals and enjoyment he needs to go 🤷‍♂️

It's coming up for a year since van Nistelrooy was appointed. The interview with Prime after his first game against West Ham was quite impressive, and it gave some confidence and optimism. Unfortunately, that's about as good as it got with the way the season unfolded. Not for one moment advocating that Ruud should have stayed, but it would have been interesting to see if he would have followed through on his plan for this season (building the team around homegrown players). There's obviously been criticism that Marti hasn't done this so far.

Other than integrating Monga he also didn't do any of that just like Marti really. False hope!

Any manager that’s starting luke Thomas & Oliver skipp in late 2025 deserves sacking. Woeful “manager”

To be fair Skipp play well today and the last game. Maybe he's finally learning to just play it simple.

I have minimal faith he will go down as a success here, over a third of the season done and we haven't put one performance together. It's very alarming. He's also showing scant evidence of the things he's supposedly good at too. Admitted he's got too big a squad to blood the youngsters and eventually gave Nelson a go who straight the way looked our best CB, awkward.

Monga now being ignored, if this is how to handle a precocious 16 year old talent then I'd be very surprised.

Feel like we're just treading water until we waste the season but I also have zero confidence in the farcical staff above him to make good business decisions anyway.

Whatever our fate is, I just wish it would happen ASAP.

An undeserved win and a narrow win over an awful, awful Norwich side don’t change anything. These aren’t exciting and the start of something. They are just isolated results, meaningless in the long run as the way the team is being set up and managed is atrocious.

I can’t stand many of these players but the fact we haven’t put a single good 90 minute performance is really poor.

Still just looking if we can get to 60 points (safety net in the event of a deduction).

Part of me wonders whether it would have been as bad as this under Ruud. Maybe we would be in a similar place in the league, but with the step down in class and with the generally okay performances toward the end of the season, I’d have preferred to keep RVN in hindsight over watching Martiball.

Nah, couldn't stomach another minute of RVN.

Short memories.

He has had two wins but neither have given any hope.

Today from about the 70th minute, it was crying out for some fresh legs. He waited and waited and waited. It’s little things like this that show his shortcomings.

His decision making or lack of and continuing to do what he always does is just not going to get us anywhere. Completely nullified any threat.
