Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager

James is obviously tired, the manager managing the time of two knackered key players in him and Rambo. Quite what Cifuentes is expected to magic up with centre forward options of Daka, Ayew or Carrenza I don’t know. The only other centre forward options are u21’s with no league experience. Without goals you don’t win games.

what has got us here isn’t bad manager failings, it’s failings to get any decent players in for the past 5 years whilst selling on or letting decent ones go on a free.

 

No manager can solve this!  It needs Top to either sort out his minions beneath him, or sell the club so we can get fresh ideas

We are not winning games, we play abject dire football, we don't create chances, we have no defensive solidity, he continuously picks shit players who have shown they are shit and ostracises others for no real reason, we are slow and lethargic, his substitutions are terrible, he keeps flip flopping players into different roles rather than sticking with where they work, he doesn't promote youth which was a big part of what I was sold on with him

He’d have more credit in the bank with the fans if he stuck to his words from the summer that he was going to give youth a chance. 
 

Aluko, Evans, Okoli, Nelson and Page should all be regulars in this team. He needed to show he was actually building a team and thinking long term, all this bollocks about “it’s a fresh start for players” was never going to fly, he lost the good will when he started rolling Faes and Vestergaard out again every week.

You need centre forwards making intelligent moves to create chances. Ayew is good on the ball but not a centre forward. Carrenza looks slow or unfit or both. Daka shouldn’t even be considered as an option.

I most certainly did not. But I DO recognise that our squad isn’t capable of much better than we are doing. We are a mid table championship side currently in terms of personnel. We don’t even have a striker for gods sake. If anything we are currently over achieving 😂

All on Cifuentes tonight. Whether you are in or out on him, its undeniable hes struggling and looks out of his depth.

 

That starting 11 with Daka, Ayew and Soumare was a disaster waiting to happen.

 

Chasing 2 goals at half time you decide to leave Ayew up top on his own despite multiple games that have shown you it doesn't work.

 

You take JJ off and leaving Soumare who has never scored on.

 

Even the chances and goal were screamers, our entire offensive play seems to be hope for someone to score a beauty, we never get in behind, one on one.

 

I fully appreciate hes had a bad hand and the problems continue to be above him, but cant dress 2 points from Wrexham, Portsmouth and Hull as anything other than shambolic

We are not winning games with the supposed experienced players being selected so surely now is the time to park a few of them up and give players like Aluko, Nelson, Page, Evans and Hutchinson a chance in the matchday squad, it literally could not be any worse and at least it’s something the fans could get behind.
