It was included in the email with my ST, one for Android and one for iPhone

I'd rather reuse last years plastic card and sacrifice the clappers, and all the other plastic rubbish generated each game.

I use Google wallet, I don't know of its any different on Apple

Just reading the apple instructions and it does say it's different. 

So every fan with an apple phone has to call the ticket office when they change phone? Perhaps apple restriction?

I’ve never had to contact the club once in my previous 15 years of having a season ticket but now with this “improved” system if I have the audacity of changing my phone I have to tell them I have done it so the system can be updated 😂 what an absolute farce

If you've got an iPhone, it seems you do. I'm not familiar with apple stuff, but when you change phones, why doesn't everything move over automatically? With my Samsung, when I change phone, I log into my new phone, and it retains all the stuff, settings etc attached to my Samsung account.

This will be my first season with a digital ST so I’m not sure I guess others who have swapped iPhones while having the ST active will have to answer, I know when I have changed phones in the past it has retained information about bank cards, it just requires you to re enter your 3 digit security card number from the back of the card to activate them again for Apple Pay

I'm possibly going to sound a right numpty here but, just read the instructions for android, and it says I must have Google pay installed, which I refuse to have on my phone, and my email address should match the one the club use, well I use a hotmail account for emails from the club, but my Google wallet has an old Gmail account attached to it I never use anymore, am I going to encounter problems trying to download my ticket? Love this new improved system. I suppose I could pop into one of the drop in classes this week, but it would mean a 6hr, 250 mile round trip 😡

The email i use for Google pay and the email for my club account are completely different and I didn't have an issue downloading the ST.

last season was my first digital season ticket.  I got a new iPhone about 2 weeks into the season & my season ticket was in my apple wallet once and set my new phone up with iCloud or whatever you do.

As @FoyleFox said, the Email you use for your LCFC Online account can be completely different to your Google (gmail) account.

 

My understanding, is that if you're downloading your season ticket from the LCFC website, you just need to make sure that the you're signed into Google on the browser you use (and that is the same id that you set the Google Wallet up with).  Once you've got a Google account, this is probably the default anyway, if using Google or the Chrome browser.   You probably signed into your Google account the whole time, without necessarily knowing it.

 

But what you can't do (I think), is to use a different browser - and one that you'd never signed into Google before.    So if you've also use browsers like Samsung internet, Firefox or DuckDuckGo, say, you just need to check these are signed into Google (the same one as set up your wallet), before you download tickets from LCFC.

Because the people who run our Club are control freaks.  And thry think Digital Ticketing gives then better control.

 

(Which to some extent it will, if and when they implement dynamic qrcodes.   But it's so OTT)
