My ticket doesn't work NFC wise 😂 just my phone vibrates Iike there is an issue. Has to use QR code to get in. 

 

Anyone know what the issue is here? Obviously it's an NFC phone and I pay for stuff on Google wallet with it. I'm also not tech stupid although hardly a mastermind 😂 so **** knows what's up

Got in with ease in C2 block. 

 

So did family. 

 

Only issue is the steward on the inside of the concourse a) looks like he's about to drop or B) is too busy hugging his mates so if there's any issues there's no one around to actually help lol

Exactly the same as me. Had to use the qr code. Was nice to see the steward who was there to help with ticket issues being stuck the wrong side of the turnstile.

Got into L1 pretty smoothly about 20 mins before kick off as we went earlier expecting problems, but the security checks were also pretty light (probably because they didn’t want Leicester fans queuing alongside the Wednesday fans backed up outside the away end).
 

Maybe it’s the combination of overly lengthy security checks and digital tickets that causes the big delays?

 

Was nice to walk in without feeling like a criminal today. Long may it continue (it won’t)…

E ticket worked fine and no queues. Sadly, same can’t be said for my dad’s card which never arrived. Told it would be waiting for him at the ticket collection - it wasn’t. Passed between two collection points before being lucky enough to bump into Jim who sorted a single match ticket and promised to sort for us on Monday. The bloke looked completely exacerbated at the s*it show to be honest

Very surprised to see there weren't massive queues today. 

 

On another note, two of my mates turned off NFC, took a screenshot of their QR code and had no issues scanning it (the screenshot) to get in.

This was a loophole 3 years ago..

Sounds like they haven't updated the NFC style then. 

So anyone sharing tickets, just screenshot the qr code and you will be able to send it on via WhatsApp or email.

My NFC didn't seem to work, so I just used the QRcode and scanned that in fine.

 

But bear in mind that I noticed the QRcode appeared to be changing every day.   So you'd have been ok taking the screenshot on the same day as the match, but not necessarily the day before.   I've no idea if this is how it has been in the past, or how it will be in the future.

I sent the QR code to a family member a couple of days before the match and it still worked. I think its fine as long as its for the correct game

It is not a loophole,  a QR is there by design,  for those to use if NFC is playing up.  As far as I can see the code is now dynamic (or at least mine is),  that was previousley a loophole as it allowed people to share,  it doesn't look like that is the caee now.

Are you sure,  my QR code has been changing on my phone.

The changing QR code feature seems phone dependent. My QR code also kept changing but for a couple of my mates, theirs did not change. Hence, them trying it yesterday. 

I asked about dynamic codes at the digital session and was told they've not switched it on and don't intend to.

yeah it will be a different one for each game but imagine now if you look at your ticket it will already have the next home game on there

Mine doesn't take screenshots even after trying to turn off NFC as others have suggested. So I just get the wife to take a picture of my phone from her phone and send it to whoever needs it from hers

Update. Neither of our mobile tickets would work. There was no dedicated helper at the turnstile, luckily a steward we know tried them too and  let us in with his pass to save us the pain of the ticket office.Others around us said they just used last season's card with no problems. I don't know if it's worth ringing the ticket office to see if something needs enabling or just try last season's card next match. I use wallet all the time for event tickets and don't have a problem with them.

We saw one guy who's mobile ticket wouldn't work so he had been to the ticket office to get a printed ticket and that didn't work either. He was not a happy bunny.

I think he means the actual code for the game. If it's like mine, the number at the bottom and configuration of the qr code changes. Mine updated a number of times for yesterday's match. However, some of my friends code didn't change at all for yesterday's game. I took screen shots to check and it did.
