QQ from me. My son is 13 and doesnt have a phone. I cant find anywhere on the site to request him a physical card (this is not going to be the excuse to get him a phone!). Am i missing something, or is it just going to have to be a call to the ticket office?

As I understand there was a closing date to request a physical card. I believe you can download your lads ticket to your phone.

I agree, that sounds a lot of hassle.  I wonder if he regrets complaining now!  I expect the club started out with a set of rules, which they've ended up having to bend slightly as more and more people were unhappy about it.

Hahah strangely enough that is a game I am planning to go to! Cov away on the preceding Saturday (if I get a ticket), Wrexham away in midweek (surely I'll get a ticket at my points level with it being a midweek in Jan) and then might as well stay in the UK and go to that home game on the 24th

That’s a great point about if he now regrets complaining. No he doesn’t at all. He sees it as a victory, even though it makes it more complicated for him. 

I guess some people feel we are all being controlled more and more in every aspect of our lives and therefore see every change as a threat.

The irony is that the fear of being controlled then controls you and you start to believe a conspiracy theory is behind everything.

According to the club last seasons adult card won’t work, if you fall into any of the exceptions you will need a new card for next season 

 

previous seasons the option to download has been available even if you had a card, so if you are entitled to a card next season it’s not strange to also have a download option

There was a cut off date to request keeping the physical cards, it was listed in the renewal email and on the website. You had to click on a link and give your reason. I couldn't get the link to work and emailed them. 

A new card hasn't been issued, they've just reactivated last years. It was already an adult concession card but no mention of needing a new one.

I actually haven't seen anything from the club yet as how to set up your ticket and access it OR have I just missed it.

I mean on the app the 1st Question on FAQ's is:

How Can I get a season ticket?

Season Tickets for the 2024/25 Premier League campaign have sold out.........

 

I mean come on, lazy, stupid, not bothered..............All of the above

The App is just a shop, the whole thing is selling stuff....

I don't have the app, but on my account I can see the season tickets, and there's an option to download them.  But I'm too nervous in case I do it wrong, so I'm waiting for the promised email from the club.  Mind you, Jim said that would be sent out last week, and still no sign.

Just download then you will get two qr codes/ hyperlinks one for apple and one for Google clock which everyone you use and sign into your account then click add to wallet and it should be there.

Seeing as they're abiding by Premier League rules despite not being in the prem, I pressume they'll also be doing this for gambling sponsorship on the shirt, as that is banned in the Premier League from next season onwards.

 

I'm sure they won't just pick and choose which bits of Premier League guidance that they follow.

Nope, not a clue how to do it. Was planning on going to the ticket office and get them to fix it.

Go to the ticket section on the website (not the app) click on your name in the top right hand corner.

then click on season tickets and select the one you want to have on your phone. I can see my dad’s and my lads ticket but they qualify for physical so I obvs just downloaded mine. 

 

then just add it to your wallet (there will be an option to add)

Just out of curiosity do you all have a number under the “Access Card ID (Bottom left corner of the card)” as I have a number there but I don’t qualify for a physical card

I have my name and season ticket number at the top of the page when I click season tickets and then just the list of names with a download button under each name

I have this view on mine, I have the download button under mobile wallet link, all the other information is listed & I have numbers under the card Id as well

Found at last. Thank you!

 

QR codes didn't work, but the manual download did.

 

Now to print all the QR codes onto handy credit card sized bits of plastic and we are ready to go.

Do you lose your away points if you don't renew your ticket?

I logged into the app today, it shows my season ticket renewal info but no option to download the ticket.

Another question. I notice that if you want to change the email address that your tickets will be sent to, you can’t do this online - you have to call the club and ask them to do it. I need to change mine because the email address that the club holds for me is an old one I hardly use and  which isn’t linked to my apple pay account. Has anybody had any issues doing this? I assume it’s just a routine admin matter, but am just curious…

Too be fair whenever I have rang the ticket office the staff are pretty helpful and the queues to get answered aren’t too bad either. There are a lot of things to moan about bug in fairness every person I have dealt with who is employed by the club do seem like they genuinely want to help, if at all possible.

Nope I've still got mine and haven't renewed this season. You are obviously 50 worse off though by not renewing

As i can't get my boy a physical card anymore, either me or the wife will have his ticket on our phone.

 

However, either of us sometimes misses a game. Can we move the ticket between our phones if either of us is away?

 

Just adds a lot of complication.
