Onana makes Danny Wad look like prime Buffon

That’s one of the harshest comments I've ever read on this forum.

He is shite mind but Danny Ward almost single handed got his relegated 2022/2023

Sack this fraud and get a serious manager in for a start. Someone that understand English football and is adaptable.

This rigid 3-4-3 that they're seemingly set on is clearly not suiting their squad.

I don't really get why they didn't bin him in the summer. It would have been embarrassing yeah but no less embarrassing than spending ****loads again only to still be crap because most of their players patently aren't comfortable in this system he has no interest in deviating from. They still only ever look threatening when they chuck Maguire up front and their first-choice midfield two is a no.10 and Casemiro who can't run - it's insane.

United will always be one of the biggest clubs in the world in terms of tourist pull and world wide revenue

But that doesn’t guarantee success

Theyve tried absolutely everything

Until they change their MO, and accept they’re gonna be shit for another decade or so whilst bringing up the next class of 92, whilst taking away all the privileges the likes of Rashford, Lindgaard etc got, then they’ll never be a dominant force again

They get rid of one overpaid and overhyped shit head to replace him with another

It’s exactly what’s happening to us, but on a more expensive scale

When Fergie was manager Man United would be getting players like Haarland, Grealish etc now they all choose Man City

Yes but a core of players remained didn’t they. The Co92. (Hate calling them that but far easier than naming)

Those who came in after the above had become established had to buy into the very same ethos.

Again, you can draw parallels with our decline as more and more of Pearson’s signings left

Yea Fergie was just a really good manager and built a solid team, similar to Pearson and the recruitment was spot on.

The thing that stood out most for me from that half is that Grimsby truly believed from the start that they could get at them and cause an upset. For years United had that fear factor and had most teams beaten before they even kicked a ball. Now League two sides don't even respect them

It'll be fascinating to see how far this demise goes. After last season you'd have thought it couldn't get worse

I can't imagine they'll ever go down, and their global revenues are so enormous that PSR won't get them in the short term or even medium term. But what if they're this wretched for another ten years? Fifteen?

Right now, they're at the same stage Liverpool were before they won the UCL in 2005. Little of note for years, bang average players and completely overshadowed by their neighbours. Eventually, those glory hunters around the world will just switch to City, Liverpool and Arsenal. Then the revenues fall away and PSR suddenly looks threatening for a club that is extremely expensive to run and obsessed with past glories.
