What's the best nicknames you've heard given to footballers?

 

For me it has to be Fitz Hall who was brilliantly dubbed "One size"

Not football but Billy ‘36’ Twelvetrees was a very good one. (Irish player called him that)

Way before my time and post on here but we had a winger in the 60s called Howard Riley who had the nickname puffer Riley because he smoked 40 tags a day

One of my favourites has always been the speedy rugby winger, Martin “Chariots” Offiah

Not football, but darts player Alan 'Chuck' Norris was a pretty good one.
