I get that everyone, fans, players, owners are frustrated and I even get that players do in part feed off the crowd but the difference is that fans pay money and the players get paid.

Do your job to the best of your abilities and the fans will follow.  That’s all that needs to be said.

Because they don’t represent 99.9 % of the fanbase ? Yet act like they’re the self appointed voice of the fans.

Does foxestalk represent 99.9%? There are always widely varying views.

They’ve followed the club for more years than most of us, just trying to do what they thinks best.

Thanks cliff but being older doesn’t make you a better supporter than anyone. It’s not younger fans fault they aren’t as old as the supporters club. Also not just foxestalk, go on social media and they’re getting slated and Linda is defending her hero Jon rudkin. Why you ask ? Because she known jon rudkin for years!!! So she’s bias towards him. She still thinks he’s some great academy coach!! He might have been but his role in our downfall and her defending him everytime someone’s criticised him isn’t gonna win her any fans. Also cliff doesn’t like the younger fans. He hates the union fs. He hates that his out dated views aren’t share by the majority. The supporters club doesn’t represent the fans it’s a joke they pretend to do.

All that so he can get 13 likes and a "that's class 👏 " on the socials.

The supporters club is just a few family members isn't it? Represents literally nobody but his family. 11 (eleven) people at the AGM and one other who was asked to leave because they weren't welcome.

It has to be the most deluded post I've seen in all my years. Probably took 4 hours on canva to create a load of words to justify players tossing it off for a 4th or 5th season running. Aye Cliff, we are the bad guys here buddy, of course.

Are they still involved in the coaches? The sooner the Club subsidise all away day coaches like Stoke do the better, these freaks deserve zero air time.

I imagine it's timed nicely for the Your 90 minutes or FAB bollocks this week, so they can tap Tony up for a signed Fatawu shirt. Nothing more TBH.

I was there on Saturday and it was very far from toxic, in fact at the start of the game the fans were vocal and backing the team, it went wonky when the fans could see what Steve Howard and Paul Gallagher could see, a team playing within themselves and certain players visibly checked out and going through the motions.

We conceded 2 horrendous goals on both occasions where players gave minimal effort to get back and stop the opposition from scoring and it took a 16 year old to come on to give us any kind of positive momentum, however in general the fans backed the team with the exception of a few Rudkin out chants and Faes getting booed on to the pitch by a minority.

The only time it got a bit more aggie was at full time when many fans left rather than show their appreciation of the efforts of many of the players. Whilst some who did stay vented their frustrations, if the players have now got upset by it then it speaks volumes of the entitled attitude, lack of responsibility and accountability, a distinct lack of character and integrity or appreciation of the situation.

It's not sitting well with me at all that the players are hiding behind a fake narrative based on what you're saying having actually been there, so this is getting very dangerous! A player/fan divide fabricated by poorly performing players going into self-preservation mode.

The above mixed with players at clubs forcing their hand to get moves and spitting on the clubs that's put them in that position is making me despise this player power more and more. Players have completely lost touch with reality and their wrung on the ladder.

Of course as a fan you should support through the good and bad and toxicity to a degree doesn't actually help on matchdays but what we SHOULD do and what we are ALLOWED to do as fans are completely different for me. Fans are the club, the players are employees and the owners are custodians, nothing more!

This is why in some ways we are worse than Sheff Wed. Whilst we haven't hit the lows of the players not being paid etc (although some of these shites dont deserve paying), the major thing that Sheff Wed have over us, is their players actually care and actually want to perform for the fans. They aren't playing for the stupid owner, they are playing for their fans and whilst they will most likely struggle this season, their fans will be able to take pride in their players attitude and fight.

When people say things like we've been in worse positions and we should be grateful etc, it's all relative to the club at the particular time. I could accept being in league 1 or struggling in the championship if the clubs finances meant we had no other choice, but for us to be sitting with this squad that cost 100s of millions in transfers and wages, to be putting in performances like the preston game is utterly disgusting. I can accept a win, a loss or a draw so long as the players give their all but I can't get behind any player who won't give the basics of 100% effort. Regardless of whether they are unhappy or want to leave, whilst they are getting paid obscene amounts of money (some are the highest paid in this league and higher than some in the prem), the very least they can do is actually try. Makes me sick!

I agree with every word here. Of course we want the club to win and do well but the positive of sinking further and even back to League 1 would hopefully be that the club resets. The problem does stem back to the owner, the lack of accountability and attitude towards the fans and the players are following suit. But the Wednesday situation shows that you can have the manager and players operating separately from the owner, playing for the fans as you say.

The problem is, and it’s why I support your original post at the start of the thread, the fanbase is a problem. There might be a minority who are entitled and there are more who are KP loyalists. Mostly, people are probably in the centre in being against the owner and board etc but wanting the best from the club. We need to hope the KP loyalists get bored and those that are just apathetic as well and try and get behind the team whilst making feelings known about the owner. We need to give these players nowhere to hide as it will become apparent that no level of support will motivate them. But contracts will end and we can only hope that the benefit of us falling lower will be that we are forced to bring in players who do have a less entitled attitude and play for the club and fans.

A few of glaring errors in the statement.

"Backing the lads" would make sense if it looked like all of the lads really wanted to be there on the pitch. Some clearly do not.

It doesn't mention "backing the owner" or "backing the DoF" which is where the root of the problem and most of the discontent lies.

"We all want the same thing" seems to me to not be true.

"Leicester City supporters are among the best in the land" again appears not to be true but regardless most fans get on the owners, managers, players backs when things aren't going well. I think the only question is where it is directed and how it is done.

Nothing will change until the owner/DoF change.

Not going to games and not spending money at the club shop

That’s great! Are you going to become a Liverpool or a Man City fan now? Good luck luck. You will be missed. Our loss is their gain. Good bye!

You’ve had some stick over this and I’ve no idea why.

Part of the problem is exactly what they are.

Go meet your mates or family in a pub instead of the football if they matter that much to you.

It's a cop out for people who are going to the games and buying match tickets

One thing i have seen in this thread, is that is has really rattled a lot of people. Unfortunately, some don't have the brain capacity to understand the angle he is coming from, some don't want to understand it.

from outside looking in, the optics don't look good when we are getting pretty much full stadiums for a while now and no protest action. It looks like business as usual

We've bought a load of rubbish players and the PSR rules, coupled with the fact nobody wants to buy our turds, mean we're struggling to turn things around.

By all means complain about this to the club.

But top hasn't done this intentionally. It came about because he pushed the boat out trying for success, but our failure to quite reach the promised land, coupled with those terrible signings, has ended up disastrously.

By all means complain about that to the club.

But we're not going to turn it around because the fans are not buying things or supporting the team properly.

We don't really know what goes on behind the scenes, we just know there's been failure. Not buying a scarf makes no difference to the fact nobody wants to buy our worst players. And not supporting the team is just terrible imo.

I wish our fans would stop having personal meltdowns and just think rationally.

Things are crap, sing your anti Rudkin songs before and after the game, but support the team while it's being played.

It happens quite a lot people accidentally buying Oliver Skipp for 20 million quid

The original poster of this thread doesn't go to the games anymore . He said he doesn't buy the merchandise. He wants to topple Top. He couldn't topple a domino. He's having a  go at rest of us because we don't do the same as him! Therefore he is wishing ill on our club. I get annoyed by people like that.

Are you happy with things at the club right now? Happy with the owner, the board the general running of the club?

Happy with the commitment from the players?

If you've answered yes to any of the above, you're an idiot and you're beyond help.

If you've answered no to any, how do you think we go about changing the club and removing the owner and his board?

He and his board see a full stadium and it's just business as usual. What's not to understand?

Do I hate LCFC? Absolutely not.

Do I dislike the way the owner and his board are destroying the club? Yes

Do I hate the fact many of our players don't care and don't want to be here and their performances show this? Yes

If you would like to have a less childish discussion than "go and support Liverpool or Man U" then feel free to let me know your thoughts on the club right now.

Please go back and read his original post, if you can''t understand what he is trying to say then i can't help you either

P.s. I also don't go to games anymore, I had a season ticket last season and gave it up mainly because of the reasons he has already outlined
