Club picked him up on trial from London Park football at 18yo. Quite impressive how he’s adapted.

pretty sure he joined us when he was about 15/16

Yeah you’re right, confused the age he signed a pro deal with the date of his trial. He was 15, still pretty late mind.

Ah yes because our academy lads famously get an easy ride here!

Well this seems to be the paradox doesn't it? The young lads from the academy get shit for not being good enough, and then somebody from the u21s but not from the academy gets shit for not being good enough.  But it seems he's not granted any leeway as a developing player or needing gametime by those that preach for it for the academy lads.

God Cifuentes was shit, playing this no hoper to try and change a game. Good luck to him but the national league, maybe L2 is his level.

Spot on. Saw nothing in him whatsoever tbh

Are the club really starting to act sensibly and purposefully? Kristiensen Winks Cartwright Thomas all off the wage bill a fortnight after training started and reasonable immediate cash in for Monga. Golding next please then Faes Fatawu Skipp and Mavididi

Probably would have been useful at this level, but overall not good enough. Another wage off the book

0 G, 2 A in something like 20 nineties for Wigan in L1 lol

He was offered a new contract.

I worry because it looks like for every young un leaving we're getting an aging replacement

Can’t wait for his squad place to be taken up by some 35 year old ex-Southampton detritus.

He wasn’t any good. Academy players pushing through are better. I’m not concerned.

Pretty mental we actually offered him a new deal tbh, he was crap last year and crap the last time he was in League 1. God knows what the shite managers we had saw in him

Best of luck though and all that

What did we offer him, must have been pretty poor for him to leave.

We could replace him with a cone.
