Loxm98 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January We can all see that every game he is here, the closer we are to League 1.. Which is exactly why they probably won't sack him. They simply can't see what we do. I was thinking the other day, how much do Top and Rudkin ACTUALLY know about football??? I can't stand Rugby. Never watched it and never given it any of my time. If I sat and watched a game, I wouldn't be able to tell you who played well or who deserved to win. Is it the same for these guys? Do they just not see what us football fans see? Its so hard to tell sometimes. 2

Bezzanator89 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January The sad irony of this whole Cifuentes saga is that he paid £250,000 of the compensation to QPR so we could appoint him, becausewe couldn't afford him. Only 6 months later, we want him gone. But can we afford to sack him? Internet research says that Cifuentea is supposedly on a £1.1m contract that expires in 2028. Doing the maths he has 2.5 years remaining, meaning it will cost us something we don't likely have to sack him. Unless Aiyawatt suddenly finds money in the coffers, or Marti leaves on his own accord, he is probably staying put. Going to post this now and see who instantly shoots me down. Go for it! 🙏

Tomo260 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January I think we should get Marti out ( ASAP)and just let Andy King see out the rest of the season 1

Its so hard to tell sometimes. Considering Rudkin was a youth coach and then academy director you'd say he does know and understand football. However, that doesn't mean hes good at his job, or the lengths he will go to appease his boss rather than do what the best thing is. Rumours that Top has to sign anything off so whilst im certainly not sticking up for Rudkin, its possible his own hands are tied to a certain extent and is more interested in self preservation. 1
Tuna Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Rodgers went around 2:15 on a Sunday and Cooper around 3:45 on a Sunday, I'm going for a 3PM announcement.

Loxm98 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Agree with what someone else wrote here earlier... If we don't sack him tomorrow, it is clear that we're absolutely cooked financially.
