Maybe his recovery has hastened, I really don't know, but I would love him to go somewhere where he is loved and appreciated after how he was so disgracefully treated by our egotistical, butthurt p****s. 1

em9999 Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Had a bit of a win on tombstone slaughter last night .. I might even be able to predict next manager the way my luck is going
Sly Posted 29 January Posted 29 January If it’s Coleman, anyone that saw the Sunderland documentary, knows how it goes. I could see us also refusing to spend any money and being relegated to League 1.
Sly Posted 29 January Posted 29 January I wonder if they’ve tapped or Maresca 😂 They’ll be deluded and go after Amorim! Then wonder why we are only getting sent CVs from the likes of Ryan Mason and Wayne Rooney.

mozartfox Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Give Neil Lennon a call. Although I could see leaving Dunfermline for a smaller Club would be a hard call for Lenny.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Unless it’s gonna be Hassenhuttl just cut the faff and hire Rowett, Sale, Davidson and Carolan. 1 1

He has managed 3 of his playing clubs. Maybe he'll make it a 4th. I think he is better than some of the choices, however it just shows where we are as a club. We'd probably be higher up the table if we appointed him in the Summer over Marti. That isn't me saying I really want him as manager, jut where we are at as a club as I say. Popular Post LAprice_ Posted 29 January Popular Post Posted 29 January This feels like a real "be careful what you wish for" moment. There are lots of calls for a no-nonsense, direct, disciplinarian - "Pearson 3.0' - and I get that but do we really think that'll work? As fans, it's the most attractive option, right? The players are "misbehaving" on the pitch so we want a father figure to "tell them off". That's not the answer. That can't be the answer. It's too simplistic and doesn't even begin to address the root causes: Confidence, continuity, tactics, etc. Right now we need an emotionally astute manager, someone who can inspire and reassure. Someone like the Claudio Ranieri of 2016. Almost all of our players played their best football elsewhere. You don't forget how to be a good footballer but you can lose confidence, become indecisive and lack new ideas. 6
Guest BlueApple Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Looking at the options available at the moment, I'm starting to believe King until the end of the season is the right call. I'm not against Pearson until the end of the season but I've seen no indication that it'll ever happen. I have no faith in the club giving him the tools to succeed, Marti was only able to bring his assistant in and I imagine it'd be the same with King, even though we're understaffed in the coaching department. Half the battle for young managers is picking the right job, King himself would have to be nuts to take the Leicester job at the moment.
Popular Post winteriscoming Posted 29 January Author Popular Post Posted 29 January King until the end of the season will never be the right call. He has zero managerial experience and these fragile egos will never take on board what he wants. An experienced manager is what we need whether it be someone from this country or abroad. 7

I actually don’t want Nige to come back as I don’t want this lot to ruin his legacy but what made Nige such a fantastic manager is he could be a disciplinarian but also very emotionally astute.

Silebyfox_89 Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Appleton has just been sacked. Not saying come back as manager but seemed a good coach when he was here, players respected him. Bring him back to help out Kingy? 1
