Whether he’d be a better manager is another matter I’m not convinced they’ll listen to him. Clearly it didn’t happen last season when King was there with Ruud. As shit as we are the players have to believe in what the manager wants from them. The last 3 managers had zero tactical ability and did the bare minimum. It was Enzo who although very robotic with his approach the players believed in what he wanted. 3

At the very least he would sign players that are under 30 and will run through brick walls, and will drop anyone who won't. Any manager can have shocking results against them, but conceding 9 goals twice clearly shows that players don't 'run through brick walls' for him

winteriscoming Posted 29 January Author Posted 29 January We’re basically relying on taking a chance on someone who is off the back of doing poorly in their last job or jobs. So someone with something to prove and has the experience and knowledge of how to get the best out of what he’s got. Completely different circumstances but when we went for Ranieri. Majority didn’t want him after what happened with Greece but he knew what was needed.

Guest BlueApple Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Just throwing out names, as there's nothing else to do! I'm living in this part of the world at the moment but by no means an expert but Belgian side Genk, who had a really good season last year sacked their manager, Thorsten Fink, about a month ago, they weren't pulling up many trees this season but wouldn't be the worst shout for Leicester, bags of experience and Genk played nice football last season, Google also tells me he's a Wasserman client as well, so there's a chance! He's had a bit of a Ranieri-esque career over the last few years but he'd do me on an interim anyway.
damolcfc Posted 29 January Posted 29 January Bummer, well it won't be Billy Davies now as he gone Matlock Town. We were so close

87fox Posted 29 January Posted 29 January 13:53 Daniel Orme Pearson not on Leicester list Leicester City have not made contact with former boss Nigel Pearson as they continue their search for a new manager. The Foxes are on the lookout for Marti Cifuentes’ replacement after he was sacked earlier this week. Fans have clamoured for the return of ex-manager Pearson but Mirror Football understands that club chiefs have not made contact regarding a second return to the King Power Stadium. Pearson has already enjoyed two productive spells with Leicester, earning promotion from League One and the Championship. He has also worked for the club’s King Power ownership with Belgian side OH Leuven. Pearson has been out of work since leaving Bristol City in October 2023. Andy King is set to take charge of this weekend’s clash with Charlton Athletic. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-news-live-man-utd-36633577 1

It’s not stated he isn’t able to take over because of his health. I think he’s best option to help galvanise this club.
