Squad can’t be any worse I suppose. It’s definitely Enzo. He wanted Richards from his last club and Mukasa from his next one (after us).
teblin Posted 3 February Posted 3 February We need to get this sorted, I'm really fed up of the same old story. I know nothing will change until changes happen above the manager. But its going on too long now, lets make a decision and live by, whether thats King, Whether thats Rowett, whether its Martin. Just make a decision and take responsibility to what ever that outcome is. We have some players through the door, noow get the manager so the can have an impact on the 2 games we have coming up.

winteriscoming Posted 3 February Author Posted 3 February Not really surprising it’s taking so long to appoint someone. Cifuentes was appointed on 15th July. It’s not like they’ve got history of taking time to make the right choice. The last 3 have been dreadful.
ceebeefox Posted 3 February Posted 3 February The signings made without a manager tells me that the tail is wagging the dog , but strangely having had no impact, the dog gets sacked. Disgraceful.

Disgraceful. We don't currently have a manager, so the alternative to making the signings without a manager was not making any signings at all. Would that have been less disgraceful? Marti should have been sacked earlier, but the fact that we find ourselves without a manager during the transfer window is not a reason to avoid bringing in desperately needed reinforcements. And the fact that all four signings seem to be loans would suggest we only recruited for the rest of this season anyway. Whoever takes the job on a permanent basis will presumably have a major say in the summer signings, of which there will be plenty. 6

We have Kingy as favourite and that’s worrying indicating we’re in no rush and that Top won’t be back for a month or so. Russel Martin and Coleman come next. I know which list I would prefer… I'd take Wagner 2
southfox66 Posted 3 February Posted 3 February Stick with KIng stay in the division when the season ends poach the manager from a play off side that knows the division and wants greater success, even a crap Leicester is still an attractive opportunity for an ambitious manager 1
ElusiveEd Posted 3 February Posted 3 February Hearing Robbie Keane is being mentioned within. Head coach at Fenecvaros in Hungary at present Just another name in the hat until anything substantial appears I guess.

fox_up_north Posted 3 February Posted 3 February I reckon manager gets announced around 14th. Don't think it's this week.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 3 February Posted 3 February The signings of Aribo, Richard’s and Mukasa point towards us getting Brussel IMO 1

teblin Posted 3 February Posted 3 February I personally can’t see it being someone in a job. Unless the points deduction is low or nothing and we are about to find out. I think it’ll be out of work or king until the end.
jv1 Posted 3 February Posted 3 February I’m not completely privy to the Martin hate but surely most agree he has got to be a better football manager than Andy king ? Again maybe I’ll get some hate here but apart from talking a lot of nonsense which most managers do he has been fairly good at championship level hasn’t he - with our current state maybe it’s just me that doesn’t think he would be to bad
Rubbersoul Posted 3 February Posted 3 February I don’t want him but I do think we’d win enough games to stay up under Martin. maybe I’ve just lost the plot 2
