We need high energy for the 2nd part of the season so bring him back and have him & Skipp just bust their nuts for 45mins each per game allowing JJ to concentrate on the forward stuff.

We need to out motor the opposition so Is SPL a better standard than L2/L1 even Championship if so bring back Cartwright as well, we need guys that can get around the pitch & bring energy to our play & will give a shit.

Or his contract is up in 18 months, we wait until the summer and we could be in League One anyway and a fight to keep him. Also the alternatives between now and end of May are Winks and Soumare. No thank you.

So you are happy to stunt his growth and have him here as backup? Don't get me wrong, neither is an ideal option is ideal.

As next in line replacement for Skipp or James then I'd expect him to get 10-15 appearances between now and the end of the season. I don't think his development is stunted by that over playing every game for Newport, although Cifuentes has not managed to get a single player to prosper bar possibly James so perhaps you're right there 😂

Don't often disawith you Rick but I do this time.

Sammy has been at Newport only since the start of this season and although he's doing well, that's not really long enough to get the full benefit in furthering his development in my opinion.  If we were able to do so, I'd give him another 3 months at Newport or in Division 1 and then consider a recall if to do so would bring him close to selection for our first team

Being our 3rd choice DM/CM for half a season would likely benefit him more than another 5 months at Newport.

Hes learnt and developed a fair bit since August there, I’d now like to see him either in League one or backing up for us.

Another 5 months at Newport wouldn’t be the best idea for him IMO.

I’m just happy he’s playing well and seemingly enjoying his football. He’s still only 21 so not sure why people have acted like he’s missed his chance.

I think the club will leave him at Newport. Let’s face it, Marti is not going to give him a go if he came back here

I don't think that being a part  of the toxic environment that is LCFC is beneficial to Braybrooke at this stage of his career.

Why is Marti going to teach him !!

whilst I don’t disagree that braybrooke needs to stay out on loan somewhere, it wouldn’t be for this reason - he’s playing for a side that is dead bottom of the football league. You can’t really get more toxic than that..

This makes sense under normal circumstances but we are in extraordinary times where Braybrooke would improve us right now, especially if Soumare and Winks are off.

Skipp, Braybrooke and James would compliment each other I reckon.

He would not get enough minutes being behind Skipp and JJ, Soumare and Winks are backup and that is what Sammy would be. Better to be a starter at Newport or League One somewhere.

Hopefully we've been in touch with Sammy and asked what his preference is.

Stay with Newport, look for a league one loan, or come back and be a rotation option with James and Skipp.

He has literally been quoted as saying he wants to stay there.

Strong disagree, we are probably the most toxic team/club in the 92.

Boom, job done then.

No doubt we'll recall him and stick him back in the u21's lol

I think Soumare and Winks have burned their bridges again.

I'd like to see BDCR position be replaced with James and Braybrooke play a bit deeper perhaps with Skipp but be a bit of a play maker.

Yes .. A different kind of toxic but I agree.

It's a difficult situation because there is no guarantee that he will get playing time at a league one team but a higher level of football would certainly help him.

Agree he is beyond league two by now, and League One would be ideal. Not here, he would be blocked by Skipp and JJ to bit part appearances.

Skipp is only in his position because there is no competition. Braybrooke would bring that competition.

We are at a low point, with a lack of quality in the squad that will surely start to be rectified in the summer. Braybrooke might not have a better chance to cement a place in the team than in this moment when PSR is limiting purchases.

Not questioning that we are at a low point, but I cannot see a world in which KP lets our signature signings to be benched in favour of a guy playing in league two.

Just feels like more retribution fan fiction than reality imo.

Don't get me wrong if it worked, it would be amazing for sure, but it would need to go perfectly for it not to backfire in a most epic way. (by that, I mean work for both the club and Sammy at its maximum benefit)

with all due respect, this conclusion comes from an intimate knowledge of the dealings of Leicester City and the intimate knowledge of no other club.

Braybrooke himself said the atmosphere at Newport is good, which is why he wants to stay.

nothing to do with the fact he’s getting regular games then?

buts it’s easy for us to say there’s a toxic atmosphere at the club, as we know all about it. There’s people on FT who work for the club and others with relatives who work for the club. The drip of info gets out eventually.  I’m absolutely sure however that there’s some equally inept owners in the football pyramid and some equally unhappy fans too.

I genuinely think you would struggle to find a another club as bad as us. I was thinking that Wolves might be up there but they’ve made changes that the fans (who seemed very united behind it, unlike us) were asking for.

The players absolutely despise the fans, I think that much is clear.
