They don't know their own fan base.

West Brom are laying on free coaches to get 7500 up there on Easter Monday.

Our lot asked for 2400 at Sheffield Wednesday when we'd sell every ticket in the whole end if we had them.

I think we should have asked for a further release of tickets,  but lets be honest our away support has not been great this season with many games not selling out.  There is no way we would sell out the whole end,  given that the 23k season tickets holders have only purchased 2.4K,  it's doubtful members will be buying up more than a few hundred.

100% agree but I just can't understand why?

 

What is, if any, the logic behind doing what they are doing?

 

Why wouldn't any club want the biggest away support they could take, especially in the predicament we are in? I just don't get it!

 

Could someone PLEASE  just make it make sense?

 

It's almost like we are actively trying to get ourselves relegated.

Thank you for your email. We will pass your comments on however, I understand there was conditions on these tickets with a minimum sell otherwise we had to pay for them all.

 

This is the reply I had from LCFC it also says they will ask further questions.

Obviously they don't think they can sell them all and don't want to pay for it. But it's gonna be left empty otherwise, why wouldn't Sheff Wed just say 'sell what you can' - they're down anyway, they don't need to restrict ticket sales to away fans. Both clubs are incompetent and it shows via many metrics (league position being one)

There are only 1300 tickets in the lower tier - if they were that concerned, send out a poll to all STH and members who haven't yet brought tickets to vote if they are likely to purchase and then get them if they are that tight.

That's honestly madness. I don't go away often and want a single ticket. I had one in my basket a couple of days ago and didn't buy it then thought the forums would be the answer only to find out our clubs let us down AGAIN.

 

 

 

I'm a STH with my eldest and the last month found it impossible to get extra kids home tickets 😂 can't do it online and no-one seems to pickup at the time office... I'm just lost for words all round

Genuinely thought the new commercial director was showing signs of making quick decisions with Ipswich going on sale to booking history. This would be a big step back.

The 1300 would sell out no problem, even if they sold 1000 are we saying we couldn't afford a £10k shortfall? That is horrifying....

 

Anway.... would love a spare if anyone has a drop out

We'd easily sell 1300 but it means they'd have to promote and market the tickets for sale. For whatever reason they are horrified by the prospect of our (sedate) fans following our team?

 

Idiots think people want KP put because we're bad on the pitch, instead it's because the KP rot has seeped into every function of the club, disgusting anti-fan practises just like lying about the FA cup coaches, lying about ticket collections being UEFA protocol, not covering any youth football, railroading digital tickets through without a mandate and taking away stewards and ID checks.

 

Top's an arsehole and so are his acolytes, taking it upon themselves to do us out of any enjoyment we still have.

The club are still in negotiations with Sheffield Wednesday about more tickets but cannot agree a mutually agreeable deal- but are still talking!

Maybe there is more chance of USA and Iran agreeing a peace deal !!😂
