I and a lot of other people have been saying this for months but seeing the way you’ve written this, is like a hefty punch to the stomach this morning. I’ve suddenly become really nervous

Or maybe we can soak up a few seasons in L1 - who knows?

There's never been a club that's gone down with this wage bill though and with the global economy (I'm hearing a shortage in jet fuel soon!) that could be the straw that breaks KP?

It’s a good point. Although a well run football club should operate off its actual income, not rely on the owner to convert debt numerous times (as this is what is it, they have never actually put their own money into running things).

Sheffield Wednesday are winless in their last 21 home league games (D6 L15), the longest run without a home win in English Football League history.

What the feck could ever go wrong...

We should just forfeit the game now and skip the embarrassment of the formalities

Could be 4 points adrift of safety at the start of the game. Imagine this set of spineless players under that pressure in a 'must win' game.

Nah our boys will come out fighting and give it their all.

No feck ups, no mistakes, defenders will defend like Terry Butcher and shed blood for the team. I can come on here after and apologise about Daka when he bags a hat trick and Ayew wins MOTM for his work rate...

Strap in folks!!!!!

Even if and its a big IF win today we will have to beat Portsmouth away . It's no good just to stand back admiring your work just go and smear dog shit on it at the next opportunity

I'd rather spend Monday seeing how many cream eggs I can shove up my arse than watching this pathetic bunch lose away to Sheffield Wednesday

It’s a bank holiday … there’s plenty of time for both!

Mavadidi, Fatawu and Ayew had been working closely with the rest of the team to curate simple and effective passages of play that work to the strength of the team. Quick pass and moves, running into space, cross first time and overloading box.

Must win game for us surely. If Portsmouth and West Brom win today our season could be over 🙈

After the way we have played we couldn't complain if we did get relegated, would be totally deserved

I don't want it to happen

We won’t be able to ‘soak up a few years’ in league one. We would probably get away with one season, and that would be catastrophic alone….. we would need to strip the squad to its bare bones, and there no guarantee we will be able to reinvest, so we would likely end up in a similar position to Sheffield Wednesday in terms of player issues. We won’t be getting decent money for any of the players, talk of £20m for Fatawu is insane, we would be lucky to get £10m going down.

With the amount of money we naturally lose, will just hamstring us even further at league one level. If we end up spending more then one season there we’re in serious, serious trouble.

Parachute payments drop next season .. division 1 would certainly streamline the club with regard to staff ..

Which is probably needed if im being honest

This is the worst type of game for this lot. Not once have they stood up and been counted for, you can’t count Bristol because they were more pathetic than we were.

Today is as simple as, if Sheff Wednesday want this more than us, they will win.

We also wouldn’t be making enough money to cover the basic outgoings thought…. And that’s before wages.

Yes its worrying I totally agree .. the streamline in staff really needs to happen regardless of what happens through .

Never been so confident that we’ll bottle it than I am today. It’s completely set up for further humiliation.

I agree players are no good without pressure but with it ..

Even worse

Can't imagine that the tourist industry in Thailand is prospering at the moment which suggests that King Power - already apparently in a difficult position financially- are heading into even more challenging times. That being the case they're unlikely to be in a position to continue providing the financial support we will need, I can see us reaching that point very quickly if we were to be relegated.

Does it follow from that that they will immediately be willing to sell us? - I don't necessarily think that it does. I can see Top hanging on to the bitter end or until Administrators take matters out of his hands.
