If I could have your attention.

There are times when a club reaches a crossroads. For me, that moment for Leicester City is now. We’ve all seen how quickly things can drift when there’s no clear direction. This squad isn’t devoid of quality — far from it. In many areas, there are players capable of competing at the level this club should be at. But something isn’t clicking, and it’s becoming more obvious by the season. The balance is off. Performances lack consistency, identity, and edge. We’re seeing flashes rather than sustained momentum. That’s not the hallmark of a side with clear leadership or a defined approach.

This is where the decision comes: stick or twist? Because right now, it feels like we’re drifting rather than building. And drifting is how seasons get away from you. It doesn’t have to be this way. With the right direction, this club is more than capable of turning things around. But that requires a manager who can impose structure, clarity, and belief — not just in theory, but in practice.

That’s why I’d be looking seriously at Mark Robins. He understands how to build a team with purpose. He gets players working within a system that actually suits them. More importantly, he creates sides that are hard to play against and know exactly what they’re doing — something we’re currently lacking. This isn’t about panic. It’s about recognising the moment.

Do we wait and hope things click? Or do we act while there’s still time to shape the season?

Because the taxi isn’t just warming up — the meter's running. And unless something changes soon, we risk looking back at this summer as the point where we should have acted, but didn’t.

Do you mean Baskin Robbins - soft as f@ck & a complete melt after 5 mins with this lot

This myth still gets peddled.

If these players were 10% as good as they think they are, we'd be comfortably mid table. If they were as good as they think they are, we'd have multiple Ballon D'or winners in the team.

Except we have seen it in parts this season and a big chunk of this squad won the league 2 seasons ago. Mentality and technical ability are two different things.

Ric nailed it in the recent BSLB; next season they'll probably be finessing all over the place.

I'm still trying to figure out what the point is that you've been making.

Are you trying to say that we're alright?

Absolutely not. My point is that there's a lot of decent technical ability in this season's squad.

Nah. Second bottom for a reason

Technical ability is the least of our problems. Mindset, attitude,.work rate. I don't want any of this squad, apart from some youngsters and JJ (I know this won't happen clearly) anywhere near us next season. I'm sick of hearing the team is 'good on paper' or 'should be x'. They are failures. That's all there is to it.

I'm not having it. Outside of a couple of anomalies, we haven't looked competitive against anyone this season and all difference makers from the league winning season are long gone.

Vestergaard, Winks, Ricardo and Mavididi have all massively declined for various reasons. They can't still be judged on what they did 2-3 years ago.

A lot of these same players finished top under Enzo.

A lot of these players were quite clearly carried by KDH, Vardy, Ndidi, Mads.

And they struggled in the second half of that season when Enzo's tactics had been worked out.

Each to their own, I think mentality and psychology have much bigger effects on performance than they used to. Take Norwich this season as a case in point who lost all 8 of their first home games this season and generally looked dreadful, to how they looked after a few months with a manager who knew what he was doing and 'understood' the players.

Fair enough. Not worth much though, is it?

I'm not disputing the importance of mentality and psychology. Our greatest ever season would never have happened if our players didn't have such a strong mentality. I'm arguing that, bar one notable exception, this squad is dog piss and it irks me that so many people (mostly people that don't watch us regularly) think otherwise.

I haven't missed a game this season.

Is this some kind of brag? I'd rather spend time with my wife doing things I enjoy than this bunch of useless millionaires.

Enjoy your free time but this is not the win you think it is. Peak KPFC again. You're a lone voice of nonsense which I sort of admire, but no one is jealous of you being a cuck.

Definitely not some kind of brag, the wife and I have been going together for years now. Just a habit that's hard to kick.

Foolish optimism, finished with a touch of wishful thinking. We are relegated for a reason, the stats do not lie, and there is a reason why we were stuck with Gary Rowett, never mind Mark Robins. This really isn't personal, but this isn't the first time where I'm finding myself reluctantly dissecting your points with ease, whilst you're simply just coming across as a little wet behind the ears.

Face the facts. Live in the now. Because if we keep on our current trajectory, our future could be shorter than we would have ever thought.
