Bit weird that Okoli gets an awful lot of stick today even though he scored the only goal, whereas "must keep" Harry Souttar has largely avoided criticism despite making a mistake so bad you'd think it might be an idea to check if he's put any bets on lately.

His goal was a triple deflection. The rest

of his game was poor. I dont buy into the Souttar praise and I thought he was slow and his 2 big mistakes were really poor. But he’s a much better player than Okoli still and offers more. Okoli is a train wreck.

Shaping up to the end goal.  Backward to forward passes still not there yet, forward still too high,

Wasn’t Brendan’s fault Fofana was sold on the eve of the window closing.

Maybe not.

But without Brendan spaffing all the cash the previous window - or securing the European football the big spend was intended to accomplish - maybe we could’ve afforded a better replacements or refreshed the squad (again) as was demanded.

Glaringly obvious that the centre backs can’t pass on even a basic level under pressure. How they never scored first was absolutely beyond me! Glaring miss!  Change tactics or replace the centre backs!

So then why are you assuming that he’s telling a lie when he says he’s left to spend time with family?

You may know loads of managers who have done that but this one is still without a job as the season is about to start.

Do you know him? You seem to be ok talking for him?

Either way I think this dead horse has been flogged now

Just shy of 10,000.

£20 a ticket was double what it should’ve been.

Portsmouth that’s Portsmouth took more away to West Ham then we had at home no it’s a shite attendance

Bit of a difference between Portsmouth having a big day out in London after 10-15 years of nothing to us hosting a league two side at our lowest EVER.

Because of cause 10,000 at the king power is lower then the 9,000 Pompey fans that went to west ham 🙄

the Pompey fans was charged £10 a ticket as well

Scrappy game with few highlights.

But winning breeds confidence, so they say.

This squad is still taking shape. With one or two proper strikers and a settled back four, we should be fine.

We did indeed look as if we were playing with ten men today. Nine, if you consider the "impact" of Mavididi.

Can't wait for Notts away.

They were both crap.

Okoli...I just cannot understand how it's possible to be a professional footballer with that level of control over a football

Dull one nil win. No creativity. Academy players looking OK for league one. Otherwise side unsettled and established players wondering where they will be playing  in a couple of weeks time. Let’s give the likes of Cullen, Burns and Watson a chance. Glad I didn’t pay money to watch but not giving up yet on our season’s ticket the lad and I

Mavididi absolutely dominated by the league 2 fullback he was against.

He's absolutely terrible. Competition winner. Just pay him off.

Souttar gets away with his limitations because he wins all his duels and clears corners etc.

By being a good defender?

You might be taking the piss i cba to read back lol

Good news for Martin he goes home to those pair upfront whereas for us, we may have a long old season of watching Skipps football ability decline quicker than his hairline and Mavididi strolling around the pitch unable to create anything, he's so bad it's scary.
