I don't even think it's an issue of result...the thing that matters is putting in a really strong, determined and committed performance and scoring a goal or two to lift the confidence. Obviously a win will be great and even a reply (for the money) won't be terrible but we have to remember that this is a top Spurs wide we're playing and not to let our heads drop whatever happens. This game is about releasing pressure and increasing confidence (and not picking up injuries to key players).

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with those few ppl who have gone for any kind of defeat!!! I know u will try to justify your choices by saying "It means we can concentrate on the League or see CL get sacked"!! BUT really any supporter who votes for a LEICESTER CITY loss is no true supporter at all!!! Be ashamed!

We don't need a draw...I don't know if the players are distracted by the cup games, but we've had a tendency to underperform and get bad results straight after cup games. I'd love a win, and knowing city, they just might turn it all upside down... I've predicted Tottenham to win, so we just might pinch it ;)

Don't be so thick. It's nothing to do with concentrating on the league, it's about being realistic. I am absolutely terrified that were going to embaress ourselves in front of millions and concede shit loads of goals. I would take a 1-0 defeat.

A good performance, creating some good chances. I would rather we do that and lose 4-0, then play crap and get a draw or a sneaky win out of it.

Really

Surely a win or draw would raise more confidence than playing well and getting battered?

If we can play crap and win that means we are very good :D

Yes really! We aren't going to win the FA Cup so the performance is what matters. I think the boys and Levein would gain more confidence with a good performance, than a sneaky win in which Spurs have all the chances and we just score one fluky goal to win the game.

I think they'd get more confience from beating the in form 4th placed premiership club than playing well and getting beaten.

I think your wrong, we have put in some great performances in SOME games this season and got nothing and as everyone keeps saying it is the result at the end of the game that matters! I'm sure if u asked any of the Leicester players, then they would be more than happy to SNEAK a cheeky win against 4th prem team rather than put in a solid display but lose 1-0. When did performances start becoming more important than results?!?!

So 16 of you think a draw against the 4th best team in the country would not be a good result. I just can not believe you lot sometimes.

I voted "win" without giving it a great deal of consideration (98% of posts on this site are made this way, I think). In isolation, a draw would obviously be a good result for morale. The cash from the replay would be good too.

On the other hand, January's already shaping up to be a moderately important month and a draw would add an extra fixture into the mix (between Wednesday and Cardiff). And we'd probably get shat on 5-0 at WHL.
