From Bob Hazell on TB:

:(

Oh ****. This is starting to piss me off now, it's all gone quiet and I don't like it.

Cotterill still hasn't spoken out, Burnley fans are a little worried. I imagine we'll find out by the end of today whether he's up for grabs or not as they have a board meeting with him to discuss his future.

Got a horrible feeling the board will panic by the end of the week and we'll appoint either Thordarson or some other shocker.

Well I hope not, Id rather stick with RK than get lumbered with a panic choice. Who knows if we get a result against QPR tonight we could already have the man we need :ermm:

That Burnley fan who said we wanted SC a few days back has just posted this on TTF:

Steve Cotteril will be appointed Leicester manager tomorrow , he's been saying bye to everyone around the club today. Sad sad day for Burnley Football Club.

Who do we want in charge now then Burnley fans? I'd go for Dave Penney or Parkinson.

Dunno whether to believe it or not.

I've heard a rumour that Graeme Le Saux has applied. And by 'heard' I mean 'just started'

:D:D:D:D

I would rather he lifted shirts on to shelves in the club shop than be on the management team.

Thats interesting Muz, why would he post that though if it wasnt correct he'd be at risk of looking a tit wouldnt he? Where are all our decent sources when you need them?

Maybe he's a tit and he's just acting like a tit

Although he did post on saturday night I think it was , that we had made an approach for SC.

I duno what to believe anymore

I hope you're not suggesting the Graeme The Socks is a Vagina Decliner?

I'm not suggesting anything but from where I sit at work I can see him having a picnic with Tim Davies in Nelson Mandela Park.

Well, this is from a source that got it pretty right on Sunday night, about Cotterill being p***ed off about the sale of Akinbadbi and wanting to talk to City. It was only the Burnley Chairman who said "no" - and that might all change tonight after their Board meeting. I think SC COULD be a runner - he's kept schtum until now - no Billy Davies chat like "I'm happy here" !!

That Burnley chap actually said on thursday or friday on another website that Cotterill knew about the Leicester job 2 days before Levein was sacked and that the job is his if he wants it. Strange thing to make up really especially 3 days before the other rumours cropped up about Cotterill.

If Cotterill is NOT going to be the man (I think that cause is not entirely lost !), I do think we have to push all and sundry (ie the Board) for a sensible choice like Eric Black. I have e-mailed Tim Davies (his 'Inbox' must be bulging !) to that effect. I know a few (including a certain R Flair) have said they share my views re Black. COME ON LOBBY THE CLUB - otherwise we might get a Reid, a Gregory, a Bassett etc.

Thats the thing , this Burnley fella has been one or two steps ahead of the media. He said we'd approached late last week , and it was made public we had approached him yesterday.

The only thing that does make it sound suspect is that Burnley are playing Brighton tonight down at The Withdean and i'm pretty sure they went straight from Tenerfie (where they were training all last week) to a base down near Brighton to train. If Cotterill was going to leave he would no doubt be up at Turfmoor sorting it out but surely it would have broken through by now if that was the case and he wasn't with the squad down in Brighton? Perhaps not, I hope it's true!
