Nationwider Posted 10 February 2006 Share Posted 10 February 2006 Belle & Sebastian New album out? Sounds really Souly/poppy! The Life Pursuit is fab. I've spent all this afternoon listening to it in the car. Melancholy, funny and funky, all at the same time. The Blues Are Still Blue is my favourite track, but to be fair, there's not a weak link in it.

Finnegan Posted 12 February 2006 Share Posted 12 February 2006 Difficult question - I suppose the best way to rank it really is on most-listened to. In some vague, rough order: 1. Flogging Molly - Swagger. 2. Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks. 3. Dropkick Murphys - Live On St. Paddy's Day. 4. Godspeed You Black Emperor - slow riot for new zero kanada. 5. Guitar Wolf - Jet Generation. 6. The Datsuns - The Datsuns. 7. RATM - Battle For Los Angeles. 8. Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster - Horse of the Dog. 9. Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies. 10. The Von Bondies - Lack of Communication. Some Anti-Flag, Black Flag, Bad Religion, BRMC, Rancid, Stiff Little Fingers and Misfits narrowly missing out.
