Leicester Lass Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Neither Maybs nor Sylla seem to be too popular, so who is the better choice?
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 give Sylla another go under new management see if shows the talent he's suppouse to have.
Ric Flair Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I think we need a new left back, right winger and central midfielder on loan to keep us going. Sylla's had his chance and hasn't ever looked grateful or motivated enough.
Ric Flair Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Give Elvis another go. I can't see the attraction with Elvis on the wing. I know he's quick, but he hasn't the ability to take players on and his crossing whenever i've seen him cross has been dreadful. Atleast with O'Grady he's strong, quick and can cross the ball. He played on the wing for Rushden and by all accounts it's improved his game alot.
Foxing_Around Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I think Elvis is best suited to coming on with 20 or so minutes left on the clock, whether it be on the wing or up front, as his pace can worry defences IMO. It would be interesting to see O'Grady on the wing then Ric.

Trouble is not many people have seen much of O'Grady, although he has done pretty well when he has come on in recent games he has hardly set the world alight.
Flemmish Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I agree with you Ric, I have not seen Hammond once deliver a good ball in the box, whereas, Hume or O'Grady can fill in that role. Hume and O'Grady both have strength and can deliver a good ball in the box.
Dr The Singh Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Trouble is not many people have seen much of O'Grady, although he has done pretty well when he has come on in recent games he has hardly set the world alight. To be honest nor have Sylla and Maybury. It's abig game tonight, I think Kelly will stick with experience and play Sylla, but I would like to see O' Grady given a chance. If he doean't get a chance today and things go well for city maybe Kelly should consider him for a start on saturday
Bert Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 For now, give Sylla a go until Lee Morris is fit.
Head Honcho Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I don't care who plays there but if they had 10% of this man's ability then I'm all for him! http://usr.solar.com.br/~juliocba/garrincha.htm
werestandingup_weresittingdown Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Definitely maybs. He puts more effort in than sylla and is better than elvis so gets my vote
Sly Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I think we need a new left back, right winger and central midfielder on loan to keep us going. Sylla's had his chance and hasn't ever looked grateful or motivated enough. I'd agree with that. Sylla has been woeful at best. Left back has been a problem all season. Surely some of the young lads from the youth/reserve team can put in a better performance than we've seen from the players in these positions this season. How about Max Gradel for right mid??? Weso is simple irreplaceable in centre mid, I still believe that the turnabout in Leicester has happened because of him. It'll be intersting to see how we fair without him.
Thracian Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 This is a serious question. Will someone explain to me what Sylla does well as a winger.?
Libertine Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 This is a serious question. Will someone explain to me what Sylla does well as a winger.? Erm...well, actually he...wait...no....hmm. Let me get back to you on that one.
