It's got violence, swearing, sex, strippers, humour and combines it with human drama, tension, depth and intelligence. Something for everybody except for Mary Whitehouse, and I'm pretty sure she's dead.

Went in to town Sunday and got it for £49! Not started Series 2 yet though, might wait to be with my family over Xmas as we watched S1 together,

One of the best TV series of all times. It starts off slowly, but by the end of Season One, you'll be hooked. The Sopranos put cable TV really on the map and showed how much more sophisticated TV can be compared to a Hollywood cinema that tends to get more and more shallow.
