I do and I can't help it. I also got stung against Swansea and I was told to man up and stop being a pussy. :(

I didn't do that. <_<

I am truly a mass murderer of wasps. Annoying little shits that have no point to them. Bees I can accept but wasps? Fly into my battery powered fly zapper and fry you stripey lil mofos.

Not run into a single Wasp yet, none have gone near me and I have gone near none, I thought that there were just low numbers this year. Mosquitoes though, there's loads of the buggers

I once stood on a wasp nest in France when I was 4.

My worst stings were by a wasp who somehow got up my trousers while picking plumbs from my Mother-in Law's back garden. Don't be daft now, it was me, not the wasp picking the f-----g plumbs. This was back in 1968.

I have never been the same since, as it stung me TWICE, between the legs, and reached the parts that normal wasps should not reach.

Perhaps that accounts for me being a trifle aggressive.

Sorry for any offence, in previous, and future posts, folks.

I have managed to go 28 years between stings. I'm distraught my record is over.

I've gone 18 years. 8 months and no stings. *touches wood*

Doctor, could you remove the sting but leave the swelling??

In fact, i'm going to blame you and say it was all your fault.:P

They have large gatherings around my recycling container, attracted to all the empty pop cans and bottles no doubt. I blame the government, we never had this problem before the red boxes came out. :santa:

Luckily I've never been stung.

I love wasps because they are so goddamn easy to swat compared to flies!

Had 4 in the house within 3 days, was 4 in the pub I ate at few days ago and was shit loads around the bins at the fare.

Where do you live then?

I was at the coast the other day - usual situation, sitting at a cafe eating an ice-cream and trying to survive imminent wasp attacks. I'd been absent-mindedly listening to the convo of a couple with 2 small children sat at the table next to us when I heard her declare in a braying voice to her husband, "I'm so glad Berkshire doesn't have wasps". Like Berkshire's been sanitised or something, whereas Suffolk is one scummy, wasp-attracting pit?! :o Dozy f'ing bint. I nearly choked on my ice-cream and couldn't help but guffaw in the most infantile way. :crylaugh:

Honestly, some people. :nono:

Wasp funeral company goes bust

Wasp Dignity, the Berkshire company behind funerals for dead wasps, is the latest victim of the credit crunch.

Says Managing Director Gordon Honeycombe; "There just isn't the demand there used to be. We were doing over 100 wasp funerals a week in 2007, but we are 35% down in the last 6 months". The firm have called in receivers this week.

Typical of firms facing deep financial woes are Wilson's Hair Tidyness Solutions, who have been making snoods and hairnets in a tiny factory, also in Berkshire, for over 150 years. Unable to get funds from their bank for expansion into the lucrative hat market, and with demand for snoods at an all-time low, the factory may also have to close soon.

"We have also recently been plagued by swarms of wasps" explained CEO John the Hat.

Interestingly in the next week. I have got to let some in a property to kill a wasps nest which trapped in between a shutter and a window. The only thing is that I have to be with them all the time they are doing their work. So looks like I will be donning the beeskeepers suit.
