john_lcfc Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 just walking through the street and someone drops £20 in these 2 scenarios. what would you do? answer honestly
dandannieldanok Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 i'd give it back, just think if you were the person who dropped it, i'm not that hard up
SystonFox Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 give it back to a normo. keep it if they support derby, forest, cov, sheff utd, leeds, man utd
City Fan Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 If I saw someone drop it (regardless of their sex, race, preferred football team, or even if they were incredibly rich), I would definitely still give it to them. I would only keep it if I didn't see anyone drop it!
Benji Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 If I saw someone drop it (regardless of their sex, race, preferred football team, or even if they were incredibly rich), I would definitely still give it to them. I would only keep it if I didn't see anyone drop it! Same with me, if you don't see who drops it there's no guilt
Hitesh Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 If I saw someone drop it (regardless of their sex, race, preferred football team, or even if they were incredibly rich), I would definitely still give it to them. I would only keep it if I didn't see anyone drop it! Seconded (or thirded after Benji!) But as a student you do think twice! However, i would give it back if i saw them!
Milky Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 i gave a guy his wallet back once when he dropped it in the street. he wasn't aware of it and i could have got away easy.
Rincewind Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 I'd probably give it back. I remember many moons ago when I had not long started work I lost my wage packet and somebody handed it in to my place of work. What makes it a even better story is that they lived up New Parks. My wages were about a fiver then. I took time out though (presure from my mum I think) to go to the one who handed it in and thank them personally. I don't think it matters if it was a Forest fan. Just think, it could be their last £20 and losing it would prevent them returning to Nottingham.
Parsons Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 john, by any chance are you studying Psychology i remember doing all about this kind off stuff in A level
davieG Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 If I saw someone drop it (regardless of their sex, race, preferred football team, or even if they were incredibly rich), I would definitely still give it to them. I would only keep it if I didn't see anyone drop it! Agree
holly Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 give it back if i saw them drop it, i would have lil think if they was a forest fan but at the end of the day it aint rivalry on the street! but would still give it back no matter
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 just walking through the street and someone drops £20 in these 2 scenarios. what would you do? answer honestly Excellent thread. I'd keep the scummers 20 notes and donate it to LCFC.
Katy Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 If I saw the person drop it I would return it regardless. If I just found it then id keep it - im not rockafella!
Sir Fynwy Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 I'm not a nice person but I'm also not a tight b4astard, so I'd give it back.
The Don Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 Depends on who dropped it - if it was an old lady, or a mother with a child, then I'd give it back. If it was someone who looked like they could afford it, id buy meself a couple of beers.
Strokes Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 I would keep the cash in most circumstances, if a forest fan dropped it i would just kick his face in for littering.
Daggers Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 If it was someone who is about to grade one of my exams I would probably add an extra tenner to it when returning...
Rincewind Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 I found a tenner a while back on the way to work. I went in the pub I use and bought the barmaid a drink out of it. I felt better knowing that I may have helped somebody who may have been a tight arse treat a hard working member of a bar staff. Also not forgetting their contribution to my weekly pint quota.
john_lcfc Posted 22 May 2006 Author Posted 22 May 2006 john, by any chance are you studying Psychology i remember doing all about this kind off stuff in A level no mate though in philosophy we watched this video yesterday. in manchester they made this guy trip up in the street and pretend to gurt himself. he wore a man united shirt 10 times and a liverpool shirt 10 times. 9 times he did it wearing a man u shirt he got asked if he was alright etc and 0 times whilst wearing a liverpool shirt did anyone say anything.. personally i would give it back to a normal person if they had a forest shirt id think hard. if they also had a burberry cap on id keep it but if they were old n shit id give it back. hehe
Teeno Posted 23 May 2006 Posted 23 May 2006 Can't believe people would concider giving money back to Forest fans. To be fair If I saw anyone drop any money I'd give it back to them but A forest fan, I don't think so.
