I am really looking forward to The Lost Symbol, hope its not a let down.

Also ive decided to really get into books again during my year out.

So if anyone can recommend anything, ill make it easier for you, I like modern crime, murder mystery, horror... that sort of thing.

Id say my favourite book of all time is messiah(the one that was made into the tv series).

An easy-reading, mystery, thriller, crime, page-turner which is enjoyable:

"Tell no-one" by Harlen Coben.

I'm not into all his books but this one is a really great easy read - got me back in to reading a few years ago after many years out.

Cheers, will give it a go, I think I need an easy read to get me back into it, then I will probably tackle The Lost Symbol... Spending far to much time on the computer so I want to pick up reading again instead.

Currently reading Angels and Demons. Bit behind on this, haven't read Da Vinci Code either or seen any of the films. Want to read the books first before I see the films. Enjoying it so far.

Read both of them, preferred Angels and Demons, though I still can't remember how it ends. The films aren't too special.

I quite liked Angels and Demons. Probably the shortest time I've ever read a book fully - 2 days. Don't read that much now these days :(.

Let down by a ridiculously poor ending.

:D - i read it like 15-16 years ago, so i don't remember at all, probably due for a reread, but that's not imminent due to an ever expanding reading list!

Just been Waterstones. Got 5 booky wooks including Cock & Bull by Will Self. :D

Have you actually read Russell Brand's My Booky Wook?

Haha. No.

If you want a bit of a laugh, and a story of a teenager with a sex-driven father, who took him to Hong Kong to get laid, and a few funny pictures before his rise to fame, then I'd recommend it.

Otherwise, it's nothing overly special or something to get excited about.
