Bluefoxtim Posted 10 August 2006 Share Posted 10 August 2006 O'Grady NEEDS to be in the team. I cannot understand why he isn't even on the bench. He has skills, pace, a good football brain and is tall. A bit of height up front is what we need seeing as the only tactic is to pump it up to the front men. WE WANT O'GRADY

Ric Flair Posted 11 August 2006 Share Posted 11 August 2006 You may get your wish, Fryatt is a doubt with a cut to his head. Hammond will play though, Kelly seems to prefer Hammond now from the way he's gone about things this season.

I never imagined I'd wholeheartedly agree with something you said about Sheehan. Other than for suicidal football purposes, the guy's not an option at right back. moseeds Posted 11 August 2006 Share Posted 11 August 2006 --------------------Logan ---------Kenton--McAuly--Kisnorbo Maybury-------------------------------Tiatto ----------Hughes--Jonson--Williams ----------Fryatt------------Hume I think the flaw with this team is that Maybury and Tiatto would have to be just as good going forward as they are at defending, which isn't going to happen therefore service to the front two (because the midfield of HUghes and Williams is not guaranteed to perform) will be limited again, which is our problem at present. Thracian Posted 11 August 2006 Share Posted 11 August 2006 Reading through, virtually all the fans call for more attackers in the team. Many of those teams look perfectly capable of scoring goals and winning points in our division. These aren't people who wander in off the streets for a casual afternoon out. They are people who watch football week in, week out and have done for years in most instances. Surely RK won't think they're all wrong. Surely Saturday will see City's wings opening and the clouds clearing.
teblin Posted 11 August 2006 Share Posted 11 August 2006 Henderson Stearman McCarthy Kisnorbo Kenton Lowe Johnson Williams/ Hume Hughes(depending on fitness of williams) De Vries Fryatt Reason for putting Big mark is i can't see us stopping hitting the ball long! Either that or the same team with o'grady up front instead of de Vries.
