Seeing 28 Years Later Saturday, great to return to the cinema again... just too marvel on these days. Alot of the movies plot is being kept limited which is how it should be... sadly they have already let slip Cillian Murphy will appear.

Going into this optimistic, interesting to see how this does at the box office considering its been a good 18 years since the last movie. I wasn't exactly blow away by 28 Weeks Later compared to 28 Days Later.

Just been to see 28 Years later,  decent to restart the franchise but swerving to near to the Walking dead franchise, still the young lad is the star of the movie and has a big future ahead of him.

Yeah i found it was good, I felt acting and casting absolutely brilliant. I did feel this was more of emotional one in the franchise. The young actor indeed was impressive and im sure this wont be the last we see of him.

Cons.. The weird ending which perhaps a tad controversial obviously the decision to base a certain character on a real life person why raise questions especially that one... cant say i liked the ending was a little stupid to what was a decent flick.

However did leave wanting more, which is good thing story certainly feels far from done and which direction the next movie will take will certainly be interesting. Roll on the next one.

The ending was certainly out of left field,  just so weird but will just have to wait for the next movie.

Saw the trailer for Megan 2,  bit like the T2 to T1 switcheroo of bad to good to defeat worst...

This time last week I was sat down to watch The Return of the King at the Phoenix, the 4 hour climax to a Lord of the Rings all-dayer. First time I'd seen the films in the cinema since release. And the first time seeing the extended editions on the big screen.

Honestly one of the most exhilarating cinematic experiences I've ever had. 100% doing again if they have it next year.

Watching interstellar again, could it be the greatest Sci-fi movie of all time? I know 2001 space odyssey is pretty high up there, but I think interstellar trumps it.

100%. If it comes around again (it must) you should go and see it at the planetarium at the space centre.

Said it before on here but it’s the real Nolan masterpiece and it’s a film whats matured brilliantly

I was quite surprised at how good the first film was, so will be interested in this sequel.

Someone's observations and viewpoint about the movie, replete with spoilers obviously, some of this I did not pick up on but I'm guessing this person probably did repeat viewings....

It was basically a family drama, with a few zombies thrown in.

Some interesting editing choices and it got me on the edge of my seat at moments, but all in all I probably wouldn’t watch it again.

The opening scene had some very poor acting (I know they were kids), but I expect more from Danny Boyle. One of the girls was practically awkwardly smiling instead of looking terrified 😂

I definitely need to watch this again. I was shattered the one and only time I saw it, so I’d love to watch again with full attention.

Funnily enough I watched it again 2 nights ago for the first time since my original viewing, as that post triggered my memory of meaning to watch it again.

Love the science in it (Kip Thorne is ace) but it never really resonated as much as the first time I watched it. Yes the ending is very sad and heartbreaking but the overall story and feel of the film just wasn't as cool as I remember it the first time. Still top tier sci-fi though.

I have to say The Martian does it better for me nowadays as the film has lots of cool science stuff but has humour too. Oh and I read the book by Andy Weir not long ago which was fantastic too. One of my favourite books I've read in a good while, and the film is just as good as the book which doesn't happen very often.

Not a great difference but the cinematic or unrated version, the unrated version has a tad more violence/blood in it.

This was a surprisingly good movie when I first watched it so I have high hopes for the sequel.
