Until these countries can rid themselves of corruption, we'll never rid them of famine!!!

Swedging Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 Until these countries can rid themselves of corruption, we'll never rid them of famine!!! Oddly, to take just one example, the UK is not rid of corruption but doesn't, overall, seem to have a big problem with famine. Nor does Italy, which is even more visibly corrupt. Nor the US, where corruption is also endemic

Nor does Italy, which is even more visibly corrupt. Nor the US, where corruption is also endemic Compare those three examples with others such as Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Somalia. Take a look at the index compiled by transparency.org - see where the three African nations rank compared to your examples. Corruption is relative. Those with relatively bad corruption are amongst the poorest and most desperate nations.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 September 2006 Posted 15 September 2006 Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a masterclass in 80s fashion. Wall Street with the big phones.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 My birth So important that visual pictures can not express its magnitude.
