lildave3 Posted 27 September 2006 Posted 27 September 2006 Haven't seen it yet, what was it like? And is there highlights on 1,2,3,4 or 5 tonight?
Milky Posted 27 September 2006 Posted 27 September 2006 Andy murray has a bet with his coach. the coach bet that crouch would score 25 goals in the prem this season, talk about easy money for murray, crouch has no chance with that squad rotation system, and even without the rotation.

Just shows that Americans know nothing about football
Shum Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Cracking strike to be fair! Great game to watch too.
OBO Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Awesome goal! When I saw that ball go into the box and Crouch throw a spindly leg at it, I was thinking 'this is going into row Z!' Then half a second later I realised how wrong I was!
lcfc_jme Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Quality goal. Crouch has got amazing technique. Players could learn a lot from him (and no I'm not drunk or taking the p!ss )
City_4_Life Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Just seen the goal on SSN, brilliant finish.
Wils Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 I had not seen this until earlier. Great stuff.
Floating Fox Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Top Goal. Do you think he should be picked over OWen when he is fully fit?
Matt Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Top Goal. Do you think he should be picked over OWen when he is fully fit? YES! Crouch isn't brilliant but he's not a bad player. Owen = overrated.
Maybes Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Has anybody got a link for the goal, coz I still havent seen it?
The People's Hero Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Owen = overrated. A little perhaps, but in and around the box, he's top quality.
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 YES! Crouch isn't brilliant but he's not a bad player. Owen = overrated. Michel Owen = Goals.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Michel Owen = Goals. Who's Michel Owen, if he's that good, why haven't we heard of him!!! Owen = Injuries!!!!
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Has anybody got a link for the goal, coz I still havent seen it? Try Youtube. Cant get on it at College though
syston_fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2NcK2DNicM What a goal!!
lcfc_jme Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Top Goal. Do you think he should be picked over OWen when he is fully fit? Without a doubt for me. Crouch has been consistent for England so far this term (albeit against weaker opposition; Owen is finding it difficult to score.) Owen is struggling for goals and isn't really delivering on a regular basis, and so he shouldnt start ahead of the man in form. I thought only the people doing the business and peforming well regularly were meant to play for their country??
Maybes Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2NcK2DNicM What a goal!! Truly awesome goal. Cheers for the link!
shen Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Top Goal. Do you think he should be picked over OWen when he is fully fit? Well that depends. Crouch might be in good form now, but he might have a slump once Owen gets back. Owen's out for the foreseeable future anyway, so it's kind of irrelevant. Personally I don't see why Rooney should be assured of a first team place either, or Lampard/Gerrard for that matter. Owen worked well with Shearer back then, as well as with Heskey at Liverpool at the time, so he definitely flourishes with big strikers partnering him (e.g. Crouch).
Matt Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Pfft...Two names...Muzzy and Izzet Crouch v Izzet I would say this anyway but think Muzzy's just wins it.
filbertway Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Pfft...Two names...Muzzy and Izzet Crouch v Izzet I would say this anyway but think Muzzy's just wins it. That goal is miles better than crouches easily.
lildave3 Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Good goal but doesn't beat Muzzys v grimsby.
