Both of them cost money. They eat a lot, they sh/t a lot, and then they die. Where's the fun in that?
Rincewind Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 At the moment neither. I would not be able to afford or give them the attention they need. I prefer dogs though. Grew up with dogs. Trouble is they always try to shag your leg. They also seem more friendly if you have food. Can't really get on with cats. They tend to ignore you and just sleep all the time. Cats don't frighten burglars away either unless they are big cats like a lion but my flat is a little to small to keep one of those and if I forgot it's tin of whiskers it might eat me instead. Not something I'd be happy about.

Yes, my mother was originally from Africa (Uganda, and had many farms etc, and were used as pets and guard dogs, they also breed many farm animals etc). Also in the punjab, Alsatian's are much sought after and many people do breed them!! Just to add my mother also has a pet Alsatian(it was my dog really but I moved out etc, hence my mum raised him), SHere Singh, wonderful dog!!!

Smudge Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 My Springer Spaniel died in 2004, my Chesapeake Bay Retriever died last year and my Beagle has cancer. No more animals for me, it does my head in.
