Anish Posted 22 December 2006 Posted 22 December 2006 It's like the internet on the telly with a remote pointer! The PSP could've done that ages ago
Finnegan Posted 22 December 2006 Posted 22 December 2006 Do you have to punch in every letter with the WiiMote, character by character? 'Cos that'd take focking ages.
bigneville Posted 22 December 2006 Posted 22 December 2006 Can't you draw the letters with the controller? That would be fun.... For like 2 mins......
Phube Posted 22 December 2006 Author Posted 22 December 2006 The PSP could've done that ages ago So could the DS, but this is on my Wii, on the telly!!! Do you have to punch in every letter with the WiiMote, character by character? 'Cos that'd take focking ages. Yes and no... it's uses the Wii keyboard function, but has a predictive text thing going on...
The People's Hero Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 Can I have an update? My boss is raving about the wii... but then he hates complicated technology. He just can't handle any other consoles. The bowling etc just doesn't sound all that fun for me. Does the wii actually have any decent games on apart from Zelda? Or am I better waiting for the PS3? Having said all that, is the Xbox 360 the way to go?

Having said all that, is the Xbox 360 the way to go? It all depends what you like to do? Zelda is a class game, and there will be more 'proper' games on the way once games manufacturers, apart from Nintendo, work out the controller. But if you want Racing Game 6 and First Person Shooter 8 just with a graphics overhaul then go the 'other' route!! But as for Wii Bowling... you really have to play it, as the slogan is: 'Playing is Believing'!!!
The People's Hero Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 I play consoles purely for RPG and Sports games. Oh and Singstar. Singstar is ace.
Phube Posted 8 January 2007 Author Posted 8 January 2007 I play consoles purely for RPG and Sports games. Oh and Singstar. Singstar is ace. RPG not sure at the mo... You really should get a Wii for sports games though. Once you play (the really basic) Wii Golf, Baseball etc. you'll wonder why you ever sat there with a controlstick and pressing buttons in time, it seems so crappy!!
Dr The Singh Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 I play consoles purely for RPG and Sports games. Oh and Singhstar. Singhstar is ace. Agreed!!!
Craig Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 The 360 is class for pro evo, i honestly can't see the ps3 being £150 better.

Hullfox Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 It's taken since Christmas Day for someone to beat my 7 year old at Wii bowling. I'm not a console fan but the Wii is very very good. (even more so as it was me that beat the little b@stard)

(even more so as it was me that beat the little b@stard) Right, that's it. I want a Wii. Will I have to completely rearrange my bedroom? (My TV has about 18 inches between it and the end of my bed....?)
The People's Hero Posted 9 January 2007 Posted 9 January 2007 I want a wii and the NFL game. Hmmph. I notice they are sold out everywhere. Hmmph once more.

(even more so as it was me that beat the little b@stard) They will only learn if you gloat afterwards. "Not just Lisa's friend but also bowling champeeeeeyun!" should work fine, while dancing around in your pants

Oli Posted 9 January 2007 Posted 9 January 2007 Xbox 360's absolutely amazing consoles, I advise to get one. Rainbow 6 Vegas best game I have ever played. And pro is amazing, graphics are brilliant.
Hereford-Fox Posted 9 January 2007 Posted 9 January 2007 Xbox 360 is the way to go! but stay clear of project gotham racing 3, uterly pointless game!
