Leicester City Ultras?

Pragmatically, I think it is understandable in a large stand with shite play on the pitch...but if EVERYONE that wanted to chant all grouped in one place then there'd be no problem, the volume would build.

Everyone in the Kop wants to sing, they just don't want to be the only one doing it. I really believe that.

Not everyone. I agree with what your saying in principal but there are a lot of old people in the kop...even towards the back and last week there were three chineese people who all posed for pictures and everything and sat down did nothing but film with mobile camera all game.

I think an area for people to go and sing is the best idea.

Old people meaning what age group exactly? Everything's relative... :ermm:

Obviously, everyone understands that this is an attempt at humour - but it doesn't make it funny. There are a group of people here seriously trying to find a solution to the shite atmosphere in the stadium and you are content to infer that they are acting in defference to you? If they knew that the Leicester Ultra was an overweight middle aged man who stands with his flies open then maybe they'd have picked some other nomenclature.

Guys, I promise to read through Jamie's PM properly and reply as soon as - but my feeling is that you either join the standingupalreadygang in L1 or come and join us in E3. The guys behind me do a sterling job in trying to get chants going throughout the match and hardly any of the seats are presold at the back. Forget names, forget organisations - just come and sing!

I am fully behind any move to improve the atmosphere in the ground...just let me bring my flask

 at the first paragraph! :P

In all fairness I did give you quite a bit to read through lol, but I'm grateful that you will be replying :yesyes::thumbup:

As for the E3 thing, I'm not going to rule that out as a possibility, but then the same could be said for D1 and D2 where we currently sit/stand on matchdays. Still, it's nice to have it open as a solution and thanks for the invite :) The support for what we're trying to do is appreciated as well. However, we're completely against the use of flasks :P;)

I sit in E3 but only on row M and by the time the chants are heard they are stopped which really annoys me. I constantly turn round in the game to see the people on the back row singing and think its a shame that more people do not sing.

I think that maybe it'd be a better idea for you to move further back, either in E3 or go into D1/D2. You can be sure there are people trying to sing in said blocks. Especially Pete at the back of D1. Total genius :P

I think I will move at the end of the season...because even if the atmosphere was to build standing up on row M is not likely to go down to well with alot of people.

Nope - everyone...if there is a momentum in the chanting, if enough people are singing, then you reach a critical mass where even the Chinese photographers would join in.

Most people that buy tickets for the Kop do so because they believe it will be the place with the most atmosphere...not everyone needs to be motivated to start chants or join in when small amounts of people are singing - what does need to happen is that those who have drifted away from the Kop come back.

Old people can sing too (I'm having this made into a slogan T-shirt ;) )

Like me, well I'd rarely ever start a chant, unless I banged on the back or something, but I'll join in with every chant, doesn't matter, how many poeple are singing, unfortunately I don't know the words for some of the older songs :ph34r:

At Birmingham this season, gradually more people began to sing and stand up, and eventually at one point everyone in our bit was singing.

Maybe we could get Ricey to make us some T-Shirts??

I was thinking of that...was going to Pm him sometime soon lol

Maybe make the flag logo's and stuff for cause he is very good at that sort of thing. :D

Thanks to everyone leaving names so far. Can we have full names though, leave your FT account in brackets. Just easier :P

That would be good, but expensive?? I don't know how much his T-shirts are anyway.

If you want you could write them, as there are some I don't know all the words to  Like the one with Real Madrid in it. Or something

Here is a link to Ricey's Fosse Designs shop :)

And as for the LCFC Songs, visit this page from ForFoxSake if you're struggling with any.

If any of the links aren't the greatest, somebody could feel free to post their own :)

This thread has the potential to beat the Mandaric topic.

Dynamite!

PS: Everyone should head over to the LCFC Ultras website and vote Fosse Mods as their favourite name for the collective. ^_^

Please only do this if you are serious. Don't vote if you aren't please

Bit late now though

The aim is not to beat the Mandaric topic, nor is it to try and rival the size of that mammoth effort. It is to simply make people aware of what we intend to do and gain support for it :P

As for voting, vote for whichever name you want to vote for, not what post-whore Gareth McAuley lookwhaticando tells you to vote for. Though I trust you're all intelligent enough to make your own decisions :);)

Just to echo what Standupandsing said, I would kindly ask you all to only vote if you're serious about joining the campaign and being a part of the LCFC Ultras or whatever we turn out to be called. And please, when you vote leave your full name (FoxesTalk name in brackets) and email address in the guestbook. Thanks a lot. Jamie.

Visit the site and give us your support :yesyes:
