Manderic get him in!

He's still got plenty to offer the top clubs in England and it would be great to see him back in the premier league. He will have a point to prove mind.

He's off to the states then...

I think he will go there if nothing is offered in England !

can see him at west ham

Same here. But with them being in the position they are I don't think he would.

I reckon he'll end up in the states. Nice country, more money there for him, not that he needs it of course. I can see him there playing soon. :dunno:

He'll end up in LA - you read it here first. Hasn't his missus already checked out houses there?

They'd love the chance to hang out with their Hollywood pals.

It certainly has more appeal than travelling to the likes of Southend and Burnley..

Says who?

Sven?

It's pretty obvious that the US is his next destination. Didn't he say, not all that long ago, that he'd like to play in the US at some point, and that he planned on setting up a footballing academy out there? Them are his retirement plans. Now's the time for him to move to the US if that's what he wants.

As for the LA bit... we'll see.

i once heard if he ever returned to england he would only ever play for liverpool, man u or spurs. ( off to the states i guess then )

It's also been said he could never play for another Premiership team, so there's quite a range of opinion on the matter.

I agree.

He is also more likely to get a game every week in the States.

Rules us out.

No surprise really, why stay if you aren't playing and why offer a contract to a player who you obviously don't want.

On SSN they have claimed it was a "mistaken quote" and they are re opening talks soon. ! :dunno:

Well actually I herd it on the radio on the way home, that being the third time after reading in on the internet at lunch time, the first being about a month ago, I think Chandler posted it on here?

Wasn't their some talk of SGE taking over at Marseilles at some point and then launching a bid for him, looks a bit dead what with the reports about him going to a English speaking country and all. Intresting though.

Probably off to the States (Galaxys where after him and probably still are... he an acomplished player what ever people say and a massive comercial boost for any club)... that said I could see both Inter and AC, maybe Spurs and Villa having a look, but i wouldnt rate his chances of comming back to England, but Italy might apeal.

Talk about selling your soul to the devil or the yankee dollar in this case!

If he needed the money I could understand it, but his footballing talent is going to be wasted in LA, he has at least a few years at the top left in him in Europe.
