Jon the Hat Posted 27 February 2007 Share Posted 27 February 2007 Graham Fenton Pegguy Arphexad Stuart Wilson Stefan Oakes Tim Flowers Harsh. All of those played a part, and we were in the Prem at the time which puts even those who didn't make it a cut above the likes previously mentioned. Pegguy was key in some penalty shoot outs which I seem to remember led to a cup or two...

Geo V Posted 27 February 2007 Share Posted 27 February 2007 Canero's career has gone down the pan a bit Link He isnt there anymore either! This is the list of players in the MLS http://redbull.newyork.mlsnet.com/players/index.jsp and he isnt amongst them. Maybe he has joined a team in Hong Kong now? There cant be too many places to go that are lower than the MLS? Maybe New Zealand? To think he played for Scotland in 2004!!

Geo V Posted 27 February 2007 Share Posted 27 February 2007 It says on Wiki that he is now of Spanish descent I wouldnt concern yourself with what Wiki says mate as is proof here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trevor_Benjamin . They say that Benji is not only a Jamaican International but a forward or winger. The fact that they call him a footballer is a gross-lie as well! BTW, I didnt realise this so called fact... "Benjamin holds the record of most appearances made from the bench by any Leicester City player". Is that true???!!

Jon the Hat Posted 27 February 2007 Share Posted 27 February 2007 Richard Cresswell, Dean Sturridge, Ian Ormondroyd, Ashley Ward, Billy Davies, Tommy English, David Webb, George Armstrong, Roger Davies etc etc Cresswell was a decent player, just young. Should have held on to him.

He actually is a Jamaican international Making 1 appearence against Nigeria, but yet he played for England U21's before (No surprise, as a sub) http://www.ex-canaries.co.uk/players/benjamin.htm That fact about making most sub appearences probably is true, i remember him coming on as a sub against Portsmouth and scoring. He was basically here as an impact player, an impact player that never really did make an impact
evs_the_fox Posted 27 February 2007 Share Posted 27 February 2007 agree that the criticism of mckinlay in particular is harsh. was a good player for us and signed originally with no wages. also i cant believe pegguy AND flowers were mentioned. **** me, id love to have either one of them, as they were then, now. also, freund was a decent player for us too, proper irritating bastard that wound the opposition up, haha. to add to the list though... kalac junior lewis (if he hasnt been mentioned yet, WHY????!!!) lee marshall im sure there's others but that'll do for now....
