Glad Someone's having a good time

Recommended Posts

Really Lisa, I don't know about sarcy cow, but you are a miserable cow and only seem to come on here to be a mardy-arse, picking up on people's posts who you think will be afraid to stand up to you and you can ridicule/make an idiot of. I'm really not worried by your status on here, admin or not, you should look into stopping being so miserable and lightening up. Just for once. Try it. You might well enjoy it.

Ooh, libellous indeed.

If you had perhaps answered with the middle bit, it would have been funny, after all my post was there to be set up. But seeing as you have a problem with me, you couldn't help yourself, could you. Without wanting to stoop to your level, I could throw back more mud in your direction. Isn't it time you grew up?

Exactly. That's what would have happened in Martin O'Neill's time.

You would have thought that with our club's recent history, it would have taken a little more care in arranging these events..

I can't see the point of a celebration when one there's abit of uncertaintity on the outcome of the season, there is a chance opf relegation and that is no reason to celebrate!!!

However the academy kids drinking trebles in their soft drinks is a bit concearning.

They spend most of their spare time in the bookies or down the casino, and they've got a card school going on in the digs. They get so much spare time, it helps them stave off the boredom. Hours on football manager is spent in between times.

Oh piss off.

A typically constructive contribution from TPH, and about as predictable and witty as a Rob Kelly press conference.:yawn::yawn:

Is there any chance he can make his next "retirement" from these boards a permanent one?

I disagree on several counts, firstly "many of them are not performing to their potential",

Hughes has played many games for Rangers including some Champions League games, now people may believe the Scottish Leagues are crap either way do you really think he would have played for them with performances he has put in for us?

Maybury was the subject of a substantial bid from Sunderland only a few months ago, do you really believe Keane, who has taken his team to the brink of auto promotion would have made that bid based on recent performances, i.e. post Levein?

As for "missed chances in the QPR game affecting my judgement", you must be joking I've seen so many inept performance these past few seasons to virtually erase all my good memories going back to the 60's. I've lost count of the number of times I've said, heard and read "this is the worst performance I've ever seen from an LCFC team" or "this is the worst LCFC team I've ever witnessed".

Yet this team and individuals have shown albeit on too few occasions that they can perform to a level sufficient to be at least skirting with the play off places, so I for one do not believe they are performing to the best of their ability and I can not accept that as a valid excuse for the total shit that is being served up on a regular basis.

What I might agree to is that these 3 years of utter shite, of the continuing promises to give it their all, to double the efforts on the training ground (why not try it during a match FFS) has finally ground me down and has affected my sense of rationale.

People have said you pay to go, yes I do and I pay for many more things in life and if I get shit service I complain or move on, unfortunately I've nailed my colours to the mast that is LCFC so it's not something, as you well know that you can chaef so I'm stuck with what masquerades as LCFC these days and I for one am now beyond being pissed off.

See you all at Stoke.

Well Put M8, i like you have supported this club for many years, but what i'm seeing here near reminds me of the McLintok days, but they had an excuse they were all Over the hill before we had them playing for Us.

Its about Time somone had the Bollocks to start Playing the youth of this great club,at least,we would see some work rate from the kids and i would dare say more goals and skill

I don't think anyone is owed an apology for a company get together.

But sensible businesses do not usually allow such events to affect the quality of service to their customers..

The timing of this do shows contempt for the fans. Mandaric should have known better.

it was organised weeks ago though. All the staff and their families have planned for it, not to mention all the catering. He couldn't cancel, it's just unfortunate timing.

If they're going to get pissed up now was a good time with no game for two weeks.

As I say I can understand the piss up, it's still being out in a kebab house at 4am which I think is a slap in the face for the fans.

I've absolutely no promblem with the prinicple or for the non-playing staff and their families but the for the playing staff it should have been cancelled or better still he should have:

greeted each player from Saturday with a sullen off handed welcome offering them water in dirty glasses and plates with left over food on them and said how's that for piss poor service, now you know what the fans had to endure on Saturday .

I agree.

It makes me so angry knowing that those bunch clowns who were paid to play football clearly failed to their job and were then able to go and enjoy an evening of an all expenses paid piss up on behalf of the club. What a ****ing cheek. It’s just proof that the players couldn’t really give a sh*t about this club, and with all this fighting talk coming MM seems to have fallen on deaf ears. You wouldn’t reward your dog for shitting on the carpet would you because it will never learn. The same principles apply to the idiotic, retarded, talent less players currently representing Leicester City

FFS some of you lot are losing the plot!

Its a free country, we're all entitled to a night out!

The fact that they were shit against QPR has got sod all to do with it.

Theres no game for 2 weeks and the new owner organised a get together, whats wrong with that?

Theres plenty of things to moan about with this club but this aint one of them!

Spot On.

On the contrary - it has EVERYTHING to do with it!

Too many players clearly had their minds on the booze-up and not the match.

That's why they ended up cheating the fans who paid to watch them.

It cannot be allowed to happen again.

I still believe whoever organised the do should be forced to apologise.

Still at least I can do up my own flies! lol

they did all come out laughing, joking and messing around after half time. After seeing that we actually commented at the time that we'd get done over.

You sound like a right jobsworth.

Ultra's wife : We still going out for that nice meal you promised tonight?

Ultra : No darling. I misfiled some papers at work today and made the boss' tea too sweet. I don't deserve a nice night out. Besides, I'm going to work on making my posts constructive, witty and unpredictable. I wish I was popular.

Ultra's wife : Stop being such a nob and do your flies up you big girl's blouse.

You seriously need to get help in penning your posts if you want to compete.

There are a few on here who could help actually - you're just pathetic at the moment though.

I think people are getting mixed up with this party thing. It wasn't a celebratory party after a job well done, it was a organized get together so MM can have a drink and have an informal chat with the players and manager (i guess...). Why does getting pissed and going on a night out communicating a message of "We don't give a shit"? I don't care what they do after matches. If they are shit playing for LC then they should get dropped and we get someone else.

Wow - you show such an appreciation of the concept of customer service. What an asset you must be to your employer - no wonder they allow you to make such use of their IT facilities.

Is there any beginning to your talents?

What a load of absolute bollocks.

If they were five years old then maybe, just maybe, they'd have been over-excited about going to a party.

I can only assume that you rarely get the opportunity to go out if you reckon they'd be put off their game because of a knee's-up!

They lost because they are shit. They got pissed because that's the way they get their kicks and the booze was provided for free. They owe you sod all by way of apology for having a drink. They owe everyone an apology for their shite, indifferent and lacklustre play all season.

The fact that they do get totally sleeved on a night out simply demonstrated that Kelly has no grip over the squad and they do not act like professional sportsmen...but hey, we knew that all along!

I dont think it matters when/if they get pissed. Just as long as their not training the next day or any matches for a while!

Jeez, listen to you all.

This party was planned ages ago, and to be honest I have had a shite run at work and still gone out and got hammered.

You really think that MM banning all players on the back of the QPR performance would have improved the morale in the squad?

Some rich people went on the pop. Get over it!
