Blue Bob Posted 10 April 2007 Share Posted 10 April 2007 Losing 3-0 at Plymouth, how many goals would we have leaked if we were in the premier league and due to play Man U this weekend? Could be a rugby score!!!!

Blue Bob Posted 10 April 2007 Author Share Posted 10 April 2007 But we're not in the Prem. And this is a pointless thread. I disagree. I know were not in the Prem but we want to be, I am just trying to highlight the massive gulf in class between our side and the current Man U team. If Man U can do this to Roma what could they do to us. This thread is supposed to be a bit of fun and is not more or less pointless than any other thread on this site. GET A SENSE OF HUMOUR TRANSPLANT!!

What did you expect us to think though really? when plymouth rode us round the pitch on monday.
filbertway Posted 10 April 2007 Share Posted 10 April 2007 I think we would lose about 4-0 Players raise their games, we wouldn't leave so little back, we'd defend with about 8 men all game.
Flexx Posted 10 April 2007 Share Posted 10 April 2007 I'd be too embarrased to turn up if we played them now. Be at least 10-
dave the caveman Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 There's no reason to think that Stearman couldn't contain Ronaldo.

I hope this thread is moved before RK can see it. After failing with his much-maligned 6-2-2, Rob decides to give 8-0-2 a whirl. ------------------------------------Henderson-------------------------------------------- Maybury, Stearman, Kenton, McCarthy, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Johansson, Sheehan -----------------------------------Hume-------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------Fryatt-------------------------------------------------- Gotta admit, though... that midfield's a damn sight stronger than the current paper-bag job. :D
Monk Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 They would have murdered us; even if we'd got Tiatto to 2 footer Ronaldo out of the game.

Thracian Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 Proper football. What a treat. Who says you cannot attack yourself to success at that level?. The one touch breaks and non-stop movement were beauty to behold. In footballing terms Leicester City compare like a bi-plane against a moon rocket. Attacking policy didn't quite work for Roma though did it, Thats why Man u had so much space after the first goal. We wouldn't of conceaded 7, we don't have a full back on a kamaikaze mission like Pannuci for one.

Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Share Posted 11 April 2007 He was some player. Can you remember the goal he scored for Man City when he dribbled past about 7 players?? Yeah Pannuci was, and still is a great attacking right back. However stick him on the left he gets exploited for to easy, attacks gives the ball away doesn't get back, and it's not as if he's going to get any help from Mancini either. And to be honest it was a similar story on the other side but Casseti isn't that attacking he's just not good enough to play Champions League football. First goal was a great strike but the second was a decent counter attack down the left, the second came down the right, and the forth is the best example of what I'm talking about all of them. There was just to much space for Ronaldo Giggs Smith and Rooney down the flanks.

Thinking board member? Board member with delusions of grandeur more like. Oh yes, calling someone a fool is so worthy of a ban isn't it. Says the man who then called me a twat!!! I really don't care if I get banned, I barely use this place now anyway. I'll gladly take a life ban if it means you get banned for life also. I'd take it so the people on here don't have to listen to your complete tripe.
