Daggers Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 Most importantly, anyone who genuinely treats the idea of relegation lightly is pissing all over what the players and fans achieved on 11th May 1991. Does that include people who bet on us going down?
Dr The Singh Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 As they say, 'it's not over till the fat lady is Singh's', so there's hope still yet, if we do go down I want us to go down fighting!!!
Milan Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 My hairs are standing on end. Maybe said just in time for all City fans. Lets rock that fooking Stadium tonight.
Ric Flair Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 I think a portly Australian lad in midfield will do it for us tonight. He's the only one I can trust, i'm pinning my hopes on him yet again.
Geo V Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 Fez talks sense and I can get the "feeling sick" line as I felt like I was kicked in the gonads on Saturday after coming in to see we lost 2-1 BUT two sides look as good as relegated from this division and that only leaves one spot and there are a few sides who are down there with us and have just as difficult if not more difficult fixtures than us. We dont need many more points so dont start to panic just yet mate as the others in a far worse state than us. The players do owe us and should never have put us through this but Im sure we`ll pull through, just!
MBK Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 He is still a better leader than Kisnorbo or Hume for being a terrible defender. ................
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 April 2007 Author Posted 21 April 2007 Same again please lads, with a bit less of the sloppy defending first-half obviously.
davieG Posted 21 April 2007 Posted 21 April 2007 Same again please lads, with a bit less of the sloppy defending first-half obviously. Nobody likes sloppy seconds either !

Raj Posted 21 April 2007 Posted 21 April 2007 We are apoor, poor, team and IF we do go down it is what we deserve for being shit for 3-4 years! we have no players who feel passionately enough about LCFC. WE as fans will still be there come what may....the players dont give a f@uK!
The People's Hero Posted 21 April 2007 Posted 21 April 2007 how do you no there over paid ? Are you for real? They are paid good money. Their job is to play football to a decent standard.

I will seriously blub like a baby if we go down It all turned out okay in the end Hols. Just thought I'd add an epilogue to say how much I'm looking forward to this season. Hopefully if I have that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach on the day of a night game then it'll be before a play-off semi-final match. Also a bit of a bump to remind us all where we were just over three short months ago. Whatever happens this season, let's enjoy it.

Well put, Fez. 2 Seasons ago I didn't re-new my season ticket as home games began to depress me. I found myself only looking forward to drinking from 12, a bit of a wager on first to score (what a weekly slap in the face that was) and then trudging up the hill at five o clock, miserable with a headache, being too pissed to go out later in the night and having already blown over £50, I started to hurt myself, quietly in the privacy of my home. I bought a budgie, a mirror and some piano wire..... Now I am much more stable and have therapists, naltraxone, prozac, Martin Allen and some half decent signings. Lets enjoy this season and back the manager. Fez is right : Also a bit of a bump to remind us all where we were just over three short months ago. Whatever happens this season, let's enjoy it. GET INTO THEM,........

At the moment I'm trying to summon the enthusiasm to go to Molineux on Saturday. It's a real struggle. Desperate times.

Guest Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Talk about deja vu. Only this time it is more depressing.
David O'Leary Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Most importantly, anyone who genuinely treats the idea of relegation lightly is pissing all over what the players and fans achieved on 11th May 1991. Can I ask what happened? this was a year before I was born
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2007 Author Posted 17 December 2007 Can I ask what happened? this was a year before I was born We stayed up on the last day of the season with a Tony James goal to win 1-0 at home to Oxford United.
Lillehamring Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Can I ask what happened? this was a year before I was born yeah, way to cheer us up even more...
