Cozzie needs to be axed on this years performances. You cannot play like he does in England, the moving ball will clean you up.

Astonishing that we have 3 bowlers averaging under 30 and in the top 10 in the division in the 4 day game.

 

Yet we're marooned at the bottom.

 

All of the batsmen need a long hard look at themselves, maybe bar Robson, and especially the senior guys, Cosgrove, Eckersley and NOB.

I dunno, maybe, but if you have to blend youth with experience, the senior guys have to be averaging over 40.

Bowling well and have them playing and missing. Madsen dropped as well.

 

We look a bowler light but the battings been such a shambles it's no surprise we've played an extra one.

 

Sayer instead of  Naik and Hill instead of Redfern suggests those two may be out of the door.

Competitive game this so far. Second win of the season? Probably not. Usually fall apart in second innings.

Eckersley's run out at 1:10 here is an utter disgrace. 

 

 

Some aggro also between Thakor and a few of our players. They don't like the way he treated the club at the end of last season, very interesting to hear the other side of the story.

Mackay's given us a chance here....273s a hard target, but not unachievable. One or two who need to put in the performance that they owe the club. Could do with another captain's innings and for Ned to put in a show!

New signing being announced tomorrow, probably Wayen White.

Eckersley was unlucky, the others weren't.

Gutting. But what if Ali and NOB put a hundred on..

Shiv broke his finger playing for England U19's. Wasn't happy with how Leicestershire managed his rehabilitation and for that reason he went to Derbyshire. The club actually say that they were working with the ECB on his rehab given that he got injured in an England game. It's all a bit messy but Shreck, NOB etc were giving him some stick on Friday as they weren't happy with his attitude towards the club.

Wayne White the new (old) signing in the morning, apparently.

Should never have left. Solid division 2 red ball cricketer. We were always a good fit for him.

Nice to see Aadil Ali stick it out. Whenever I have come across him in club cricket he seemed to want to smash everything to the boundary.
