Still think Rehan needs a big hundred (165+ score) and that will cement him as a top order batsmen who can be selected on that alone for England, at least in the eyes of the selectors. Even compared to last year, looks like his technique has massively improved. 

 

Really think he is the player who deserves to be treated as a long-term project by the ECB and just get him in the team for the next 2-4 years and let him develop regardless of performance (to an extent). And doesn't have to play every game but very frustrating that Bethell has jumped the queue ahead of him

Not a good couple of overs for Evison to be honest- couldn't get the ball away, a point goes begging, then caught fast asleep for an obvious single.

They have no business being in the commentary box if they don’t know something so basic. Listeners rely on them for their knowledge of the game. It’s disgraceful.

Yes fair play to him, in our position you need your overseas players to be on it with game changing performances, he has stepped up and delivered, hopefully we see more from Patel if the wickets start turning

Guilty as charged, came from left field  and not sure many would have had him down as an overseas player on a wish list. Bit like the footy we don't have much of a pot to pee in but recruitment deserves a lot of credit for getting him.
