He's got a new job as a PE teacher so was never going to play 👍

He's the new cricket professional at Oundle School, in Peterborough, so not far for him to go. 

 

Solid employment for many years - Vince Wells is still Director of Sport and Cricket, down here at Sutton Valence School, in Maidstone.

Gumbs, Rishi and Eskanazi scored a grand total of 12 runs between them in the game, really poor effort considering what might be at stake.

Given the weather forecast in Wales tomorrow, and the current score in the game at Cardiff, it looks like Essex will escape with a draw, which will mean they get 9 points and finish on 136 points. We would therefore need the points deduction to be overturned almost in its entirety to escape relegation.

Sad that leicestershire went down wanted essex down, but glad the bears got their hands on the title.
