Could have knocked it about on the ground and inched towards it, but went for the big shots and lost wickets.

 

Would be nice if the curse on the County's sports teams could just bugger off.

Kelly aside, that was pathetic. I hope it hurts them like hell. They deserve to feel sick to their stomach for that. Middlesex played well, but they didn't have to put in a great performance. We gave so many wickets away.

If they hit 350, or the pitch is bouncing all over the place then fair enough. To finish that far short with so many overs left is a very poor effort.

All we needed someone to do was stick around. Just play a risk-free 30 off 60, the ball was doing absolutely nothing. Seriously poor.

They had one bowler who admittedly was in the zone 

 

One ounce of a brain cell would suggest after that, rotate the strike and keep it around 4 an over without doing anything silly.

 

Horrible time to be supporting any sporting team starting with the word “Leicester”
