Wow. The feel good factor didn't last long! That shot at the end from Ackermann summed it up. A pie of a ball hit straight to a fielder on the boundary. Lancs are simply a much better team with higher class players but I would have hoped that we could have posted a more competitive score than that.

They bowled well but I question our batting tactics. Sometimes,  you just have to play the conditions and context, rather than continuing to go hard and force things irrespective of them. At 83-4 off 11, it would have been sensible to knock the ball around for 1s and 2s for 5 overs to save wickets for a dart in the last 4, rather than continuing to play big shots and getting out, with the result that we ended up with Naveen and Davis trying to scratch a few runs in the last 3 overs.

This has been a disastrous night for the club. Could have been a great chance to win over a new set of fans. But instead the team gets outplayed comprehensively and then it p1sses down to force most of the crowd home early.

Yes imagine this will put a lot off. Why have the club announced it as a sell out. Empty seats everywhere. Seems strange.

It's just an odd thing to announce. Must of stopped a lot of walk ups coming today.
