MySpace is riddled with 12 year olds... and 50 year olds looking to befriend 12 year olds. That's not an issue at Facebook thanks to networks. It started out as a site for university students to network - within their own networks, and it's progressively expanded to reach other sections of the population. It's supposed to be for over 18s but plenty of people just lie about their age to get on. <_<
